Fulfilling an intense 7-year's urge! (1)

Rika continued to stare at Delia with widened eyes for so long that the entire guild by this time had already fallen into absolute silence.

Everyone's attention once again in just a few hours since Delia's joining and Delia's entrance into the guild, had everyone's attention upon her again.

But this time not for her unattainable beauty.

Delia already knew that everyone was going to freak-out so she already plugged her heightened elf ears, with her own fingers.

A few seconds later, everyone started hearing the creaking sounds as if something was about to collapse. Delia, realizing what it was, grabbed the red x-bear by the back of its neck and put it into her magical space-pouch.

The item was known as the Inventory space-pouch because it was made with space magic, so there can be a lot of storing space in it.

Everyone was now trying to figure out how exactly did a newbie, who just joined the guild, have an Inventory space-pouch? Especially one of such a high rank, just by the looks of the pouch everyone hypothesized that it would be around A-rank, inventory space-pouches were really extensive stuff.

Rika then spoke: "You aren't joking?"

Delia looked back at Rika with a blank un-amused expression and she spoke truthly: "Why would I be joking about this?," Her voice was so straightforward without any hint of lies in her tone.

Silence continued on for the whole guild until suddenly everyone heard a loud boisterous laugh and everyone looked up at the second floor stairs of the guild and they saw a man with short white hair, a long white beard, and electric blue eyes.

Just by looking at this old man you could tell he was old, but something about him spoke otherwise about his age. Maybe it was his eyes that told Delia this old man's character.

His character spoke that he was a man of action and planning, a man who always planned things ahead before doing anything, a man even though if his plans went wrong always had another backup plan and would move forward in whatever action he planned on doing. This was what the man's eyes spoke to Delia.

As Delia felt the man's stare at her, she saw that he wasn't staring at her body like a pervert. No, he looked at her like how a grandfather would see his grandchild and when she saw him, it looked like he looked at everyone the same.

Delia in that moment knew that this guild did not only see each other as fellow co-workers but as a big family.

The old man eventually stopped his laughter then he proceeded to place his right hand to his chest and slightly bowed his head and spoke directly to Delia:

"Young miss would you care to talk?," And then all of a sudden a random adventure from the guild yelled:

"The guild master wants to talk to the newbie personally?"

Then another one shouted, "I told you, this girl is not only beautiful, she's got beauty and brains. And maybe muscle?"

Delia fought over the so-called guild-master request, with a raised eyebrow as she thought to herself:

So that's the guild master of the silver hawks guild, Arnold Vaper. The retired national hero. An SSS-rank powerhouse adventurer. It was said that his strength in his prime was so high, that he was literally chosen by the gods. But it was never an official statement."

So with no other choice. And since she was already inside his guild, why not?

And the guild master himself wanted to talk to her. Delia just nodded her head. And seeing Delia nodding her head the guild master smiled. Then he gestured for Delia to follow him upstairs.

Rika looked at Delia and suddenly pushed her body forward. Only pushing her upper body part over her desk. And she grabbed onto Delia's hand and said:

"I'm quite surprised that you caught the attention of the guild master. Well that just shows your high potential to become an SS-rank adventurer in the future."

Delia quirked an eyebrow and asked,

"What do you mean?" Rika just shook her head. Signifying that she could not. But she continued speaking:

"Don't worry. I'm sure the guild master will explain to you why."

Delia understood what she meant & only nodded her head. Then she started going up the stairs. After getting up the stairs. She ended up seeing herself in a nice empty corridor. She continued to walk.

Then she started seeing different types of paintings. On each side of the walls.

And all of them had one thing in common. They were all paintings of wars, gruesome ones at that.

They even showed humans fighting. Creatures such as dragons, demons, and other monsters. Another one showed a kingdom burning. and people being killed.

Another one showed a man, rising on top of thousands of demon corpses. With his sword held high in the air. In an obvious victory pose.

Then in the end of the corridor she saw a door. And on top of it was written "Guild master's office."

Delia walked up to it. Waited for a few seconds. Then she knocked lightly.

She waited again awaiting for a response. Then she heard it. A calm voice telling her to enter:

"Please do enter."

Without thinking twice. Delia opened the door, and entered the guild master's office.

Her eyes immediately locked onto the elderly guild master, ignoring the whole room and its various decorations.

Guild master Arnold saw Delia's immediate action and just smiled hopelessly at her. "I see that you have been trained well," Arnold said.

Delia only quipped an eyebrow, and just stared at him. Then she spoke after a while:

"So, what do you need from me, guild master Arnold?

Arnold smiled and said, "Just call me guild master, Arnold is not needed." Delia just nodded her head.

Then Arnold gestured for Delia to sit down in one of the two chairs in front of his desk.

Delia immediately walked up to him, pulled back the chair, and sat, then she pushed herself forward. Delia now stared face to face with her guild's master.

Arnold spoke: "I'm quite impressed. You defeated an A-ranked beast while being on your very first quest. Where exactly did you go? I did hear, but I need to confirm it directly from you."

Delia thought over a lot of excuses she could use, but after thinking all over the scenarios, she couldn't think of anything solid to use so she just answered with the truth:

"I headed to the forest of alcreme."

The guild master nodded his head while his eyes were closed, nodding to himself & he said: "I see, I see."

Then he continued on: "It's quite remarkable. It just proves that you're not just an E-rank. You have experience fighting monsters don't you?," he carefully inquired not trying to pressure his newest adventurer.

Delia just stiffly nodded her head.

The guild master once again nodded his head and continued on:

"Because as I saw when you brought that red x-bear I saw how easily you defeated it, and you didn't even have any scratch on you. And I don't believe that you had a healing potion with you, or any kind of healing object. Unless you have some type of healing factor of your own?"

Delia nodded and replied: "I do have one, just like you said."

The guild master asked then: "I see then how did you beat the red x-bear?"

Delia then went into a careful detail of how she defeated it. The guild master started laughing, shaking the entire room. Then he said:

"Good, good, good. I, as this guild's master, will evaluate your skills, and I will give you the rank of-B."

Delia wasn't actually that surprised that she ended up giving the rank of-B, because about a year ago, before she left the cathedral, Pope Raymond ended up giving her a rank in the cathedral, as a high rank knight of the cathedral. So in case she wanted to give up on being an adventurer, she could come back and be a knight of the cathedral.

"I see," she said with an unemotional tone in her voice. There was no audible emotion in it at all.

She only just nodded her head, signifying that she understood the guild master's decision.

The guild master saw her nodding her head then asked a question he had:

"Well then, now I've got a question. I have something personal I want to know. You can think of it as an inquiry."

This time Delia's face obviously showed a hint of emotion, surprise and she raised two eyebrows, almost in a way that it almost looked like they went above her forehead.

"What question would that be?" Asked Delia.

The guild master put a hand to his chin, starting to think over his question:

"How should I put this? I think I'm just going to ask straight. By any chance, are you related to a deceased woman named Didi von'sfield?"

Delia's eyes shot up in surprise, and she fought over it. Then she spoke:

"No. Even though I heard about her. Didi von'sfield one of the knights of the round, working underneath the king himself. I heard that she was a known as the strongest human female in our whole Word of nexa-terra. I don't have the full details about her death. But no, even though it was found out that miss Didi was half elf, while I am not part elf, I am a full elf with a mix of another race that i don't know of. But that race is so small that I am considered a pure elf. I would say maybe a high elf. I just don't remember. I don't really know who I am. So I was taken to the cathedral. But according to the information that the cathedral told me, I don't think I'm related to her. It's just that our names sound rather similar, because my name has a meaning to it. It's just coincidence. And my name is not Delia von'sfield. It's actually Delia White."

The guild master spoke in a slight mischievous tone:

"You'll find out later on. It's not that important. And don't worry, it's not going to be something that will bother your mind. You'll eventually find out when you just walk out on the street."

Delia just pondered over the guild Master's words, a bit confused of what it meant. Did it mean something by it? She didn't know. But she knew that the way he said it, it signified that she was going to figure it out any time soon.

"She asked, is that all you needed to ask guildmaster?," inquired Delia as she slowly got off the chair.

The guild master's happy-go attitude suddenly disappeared and a serious yet curious mood came over him.

"One more question if you don't mind?," he closely inquired.

Delia sensing her guild master's sudden change she also became serious.

"I've lived through various things and met various people, and I can say you're not a full elf are you?," he exclaimed.

Delia's face went through various expressions such as surprise, terror then calm.

"Am sure you're wondering how I know, right?," he inquired from Delia.

Delia didn't utter a single word and just nodded her head. Then the guild master continued on:

"You have a strong aura of a being that just wants to devour everything it sees. And the crazied bloody grin you currently have on, proves my claim."

Just as the guild master proclaimed Delia's left side lip were starting to curl up into a frightening grin.

Her eyes were wide open, filled with evident madness in them. Delia suddenly had an urge, telling her that she should devour the guild master. It was telling her that if she killed & devoured the guild master she would grow into something way stronger. But another feeling was telling her another thing, that being her instincts.

It was telling her that if she dared to think of it, she would be dead in the next following second before she even knew what happened.

That was the difference between their ranks, the difference between a B-rank and a SSS-ranked adventurer. But the smile on her face was about to grow more.

But a few seconds later, her face went back to normal. But the aura of devouring and lust was still evident in the air.

The guild master just shook his head and said: "That's all there is, that's all I needed to know."

"Is that all you needed?," she coldly inquired.

"Wait, let me get the paper's ready," He took out a piece of paper, & started writing some stuff. Then he handed the paper over to Delia and spoke:

"Hand it over to the receptionist Rika. When you give it to her, she'll know what to do. She'll instantly shoot you up to B-rank. And if anyone has complaints, just tell them I said so."

Delia then nodded her head, and took the slip of paper from him then she headed out, closing the door behind her.

Delia really wanted to get away from the guild master a while, to control her urges and emotions.

The guild master sighed & looked at a portrait to his left side of the wall while leaning his back against the chair and spoke:

"Huh? What a surprise. That girl, Delia, I can already tell that the gods have a lot of plans for her. To think that another child like me would be born so early. Or should I say, another one of us. But her role is going to be way more important in the previous one."

Arnold looked up into the ceiling and said: "What plans do you have for her?"

Delia started walking down the stairs, and everyone's eyes were on her again, wondering what the guild master wanted to talk to her about.

Delia ignored all the glances and walked up straight to the receptionist Rika. Rika looked excited for some unknown reason.

Maybe it's because she knew what they were talking about, or maybe she was excited to hear whatever Delia spoke with the guild master.

Delia then took out the slip of paper and placed it on the desk and slid it over to Rika. Rika looked over it. After reading it her eyes bulged in surprise of what she (read) then she said:

"Ohhh my god, that's fast!"

Catching everyone's attention in the entire guild. Everyone, for some unknown reason, even from afar or close, were trying to strain their ears forward to hear.

Then Delia said: "It's from the master himself. And I'm sure you can see it through the signature in the end, that this is not any fake."

Rika immediately nodded her head and immediately started attending the paperwork. Everyone's attention continued to grow more by the second.

After filling out some documents, Rika handed Delia a gold-colored material with the rank of-B written on it. Then she handed over the paper and asked for Delia to sign at the bottom.

Then she stood in a straight position like a soldier with her hand over her head and she seriously spoke:

"Congratulations, Delia white! You have within a span of a single day, and a few hours, have become a B-ranked adventurer! Even by the guild master himself!," out loud, so everyone could hear it. Silence fell upon the whole guild.

Everyone's mouth was wide open, gaping. Those who were drinking had their alcohol dripping out from their mouth onto the floor.

Others looked so gasped, as if someone just walked up to them and slapped them in their faces and stole all their things.

Silence continued, for a while, while Delia nodded her head, thinking to herself: "This is good. I'm very close to fulfilling my desire of becoming an adventurer. One not known by the masses, but at least one that could help those in their time of need."

Then she thought to herself, it's almost like I'm thinking of myself as a hero. Really funny, especially when the news of the hero's incarnation being reborn has officially been released.

And that meant that the demon lord had also reincarnated. I hope this time, this hero will be strong enough to kill him quicker than the previous hero's.

According to history, it took the previous hero so long to grow strong. That the demon lord ended up wiping out thousands of lives. Those being of various race's demigods, humans, and other creatures as such.

At this point Delia was already walking away, Delia turned around and started walking towards the guild's quest board.

And as she left, the only sound that could be heard was the sound of her shoes clacking onto the wooden floor of the guild. And by each second that passed, when no one could hear her anymore everyone freaked out and yelled synchronizedly:

"What?!"

"B-rank in a couple of hours? Tell me I heard that wrong. I mean, someone please tell me I heard that wrong. My ears better be failing me!," yelled a random person.

"Maybe I heard that a famous noble was marrying the princess or something. Tell me this can't be real," said another random person.

Was the commotion that erupted immediately after Delia headed to the quest board.

People were freaking out, yelling at one another, trying to figure out if what they heard was correct. Or maybe they were cast with a death skill or some kind of monster that they fought before.

A lot of people did not believe what they were hearing. It felt so surreal.

This surreal feeling was so surprising that everyone could not think straight, only hold on to one another, yanking themselves, trying to snap themselves out of this illusionary dream that they were in.

But when they realized everyone else also heard the same thing, they wondered, did someone cast a wide-range illusionary skill, a skill that they couldn't dispel?

Maybe they needed a professional.

Everyone started running out of the guild, looking for someone who could help them.

Because the A-rank adventurers were not here, they all went out on a few weeks quest, and the only person who was really good at using illusionary magic, especially disabling them, was not here with them at this moment.

So they had no choice but to look around the city, looking for someone who could dispel this illusion from their mind.

While this was happening, the person responsible for it was looking over the request, looking for a suitable quest that she could take for her first quest.

Delia chose to just take the quests today and finish it tomorrow.

So she walked up to the receptionist, Rika, and handed the quest over to her.

Rika took the quests, looked over them &

her head dropped down, and then she looked back at Delia and said:

"I see, you wanna take these quests in a single day? And you haven't rested for a little yet. After all, you did end up doing more than you needed for your first quest."

Delia just continued to stare blankly at Rika with a blank expression then suddenly that same expression blossomed into a loving smile, and she said:

"Relax lady Rika, I was just taking this quests for myself tomorrow afternoon. After all, I just came to this city, so thank you for caring so much for someone who's new, and especially with the way I've been acting," spoke Delia.

Rika was god-smacked by Delia's smile, to the point that her entire face was basically flushing bright red, but Delia didn't see this, or maybe she did but and just pretended to not see.

It was hard to tell.

Rika tried to speak, but her voice betrayed her, and her voice ended up cracking: "O-kay."

It was such a funny sight, that Delia suddenly started laughing, her laugh was so sweet and melodious, that it again, took Rika by such a surprise. She stared at Delia's laughing face, with a hand trying to stop her laughter.

Since the guild's receptionist desk was in the front middle of the guild, the moon's rays on the top of the guild reflected upon Delia, lighting her up.

It was such a beautiful scene, like one you would see in a picture-perfect painting that an artist drew with all his passion.

Rika just continued to stare at the still laughing Delia. Who slowly but surely ran out of laughter. Then she started wiping her tears.

Then, without speaking before thinking what she was about to say, Rika said in a whisper, but still high enough that Delia's heightened elf ears picked up on it:

"Beautiful!"

She whispered with so much emotion, that it took Delia by surprise as she stared at Rika in her own surprise, wondering what she meant exactly by "Beautiful."

The look on her face was one of disbelief, as if someone who just saw a perfect masterpiece, something created by a man, at such a level that it didn't look like no man had created it, instead it was crafted by the gods themselves.

Then, as Delia continued staring, she remembered that Rika was literally frozen in her place. She put her hand in front of Rika trying to snap her out of it, but nothing.

Then she started waving her hand around, she even called out to her: "Rika, are you there?" But no response.

So she grew a mysterious grin on her face. By this time on, the remaining adventures that were in the guild, eyes were on Delia, then they saw something that ended up making a lot of the men, literally, bleed from their noses so fast that they literally rocketed themselves backwards, with goofy smiles on their faces.

The scene that the men ended up seeing was of Delia leaning her chest closer to Rika's face, her chest slightly coming out of her outfit, it really was literally coming out as if it was trying to seduce Rika.

A beautiful woman, a sexy one at that, was trying to seduce another woman. Who was also beautiful. It was the sight that no straight man could take it without reacting.
