116. Edolas Alex
"What the-?!" The Dragon Slayers are in disbelief by what they are seeing now.
Mystogan takes them to a place that can really clear all their doubts, Edolas Fairy Tail. Previously, Mystogan received a message from his ally in this world that he contacted right after he arrived here using his magic.
He contacted Panther Lily, who has a very important position and knows a lot of information including the location of Edolas Fairy Tail. But if Lily knows it, that means the other commanders like Edolas Erza also know it, so it won't be long before they attack Fairy Tail.
That's why they need to hurry before Fairy Tail is attacked and forced to move somewhere else. Fortunately, the location isn't too far, so they can reach it fairly quickly. Now they can finally see the definite proof that this is not their world.
Edolas Fairy Tail's building is just like how it's shown in the series. But there seems to be more members inside now. The ones shown in the series were just the main members of the Guild as most of their members have been killed by the Kingdom, including their unknown Guild Master.
But now, there are more people inside their Guild including those who weren't there in the series like Edolas Lisanna, Edolas Laxus, Edolas Freed, Edolas Bickslow, and Edolas Evergreen. Edolas Lisanna is still alive while the other 4 whose statuses were unknown in the series are also there now.
Edolas Natsu is also in the Guild currently, and also Edolas Wendy that's a few years older than Earthland Wendy. Their jaws drop when they see their other selves as they peek through the windows. Now they fully believe what Mystogan said.
Though Laxus is very annoyed by his other self who seems to be a bookworm. Edolas Laxus wears glasses and has a skinny body because he only focuses on his study and almost never trained his body.
Natsu wants to laugh at it, but he also feels dumbfounded by his other self who seems very timid and quiet. Wendy is jealous of her other self while Gajeel is still searching for his other self because he can't find Edolas Gajeel at all.
"Oh? Seems like we have some guests here." Suddenly, a voice comes from behind them. They don't realize anyone is getting closer, so it really surprises them, making them flinch and jump away in surprise.
All of them look back to see the one who speaks and is surprised by it. The one who surprises them is none other than Alex, but not the Alex they know. After all, this Alex has lost his left eye. Most likely because of a sharp weapon judging from the vertical scar that runs across his left eye.
Also, this Alex carries a rifle on his back and 2 pistols on his waist, something their Alex won't even do because their Alex is so bad with weapons that Makarov bans him from even carrying any. So it's clear that this is Edolas Alex.
"Hmm? There are more people than I anticipated, but it's not really a problem. The more the better I guess. Alright, for now-." Edolas Alex suddenly stops his sentence and looks to the sky on his right.
"Tsk! They come at a bad time. You guys, get into the Guild. We'll talk later after we jump to a safer place."
"Huh? What are you-." Mystogan is flustered because he doesn't know what Edolas Alex wants. The others are also confused.
"You are from Earthland, right? I know quite a lot of things and we have a lot to talk about too. So get into the Guild because some annoying folks are coming."
Right after Edolas Alex says that, a giant flying creature appears in the sky above them. Edolas Alex grabs the Earthland Fairy Tail members and throws them into the Guild through the windows they use to peek which obviously breaks the glasses to pieces and causes a loud noise. He lifts them so easily with 1 hand as if they are very light.
"H-Huh?! What happened?!"
"INTRUDERS!" The Edolas Fairy Tail members quickly react and prepare to fight.
"Stop! They are not enemies. I'm the one who throw them in because there's an emergency." Edolas Alex stops them very quickly as he also enters through the broken windows.
"MASTER!" The Edolas Fairy Tail members shout in unison when they see Alex. Surprisingly, he is the Guild Master of Edolas Fairy Tail.
"You've returned, Master. But who are these people and what do you mean by emergency?" Edolas Lucy asks.
"The Fairy Hunters are coming. Prepare to jump right away."
What he says surprises the Edolas Fairy Tail members. They immediately prepare the device they'll use to jump or teleport the Guild to another location. Alex tells the Earthlanders to sit tight before he walks to the front door and takes the rifle on his back.
While the Edolas Fairy Tail members prepare their device to jump or teleport their whole Guild to a safer place, a giant flying creature is coming toward them from the sky at a rather high speed, clearly wanting to attack them.
On the giant creature, there are 4 individuals. They are the Kingdom's army commanders and their assistants. In the series, only Erza and Sugar Boy come. But now, the 2 of them bring 2 other people to help.
The reason for that is because of Edolas Fairy Tail's strength that's higher than in the series. Those 2 people are also trained specially to deal with Edolas Fairy Tail and they are given the positions of Vice-Commanders under Erza Knightwalker, the Fairy Hunter.
What's more surprising is that the 2 Vice-Commanders are actually the Edolas versions of Ultear and Lyon. Though well, none of the Earthlanders there really know the 2 of them, but if Alex is here, he'll be surprised.
They are about to crash their giant flying creature onto Edolas Fairy Tail when suddenly a nig and powerful magic bullet flies toward them from the front. Edolas Lyon quickly jumps in front of the giant flying creature to block the incoming magic bullet with his shield.
He blocks it, but he gets pushed back and crashes onto the creature. The big magic bullet has enough power to push the giant creature back quite far. It's power is on par with high-level spells on Earthland.
"This attack, he's there, huh?" Edolas Erza seems displeased.
"Well, he is their Guild Master, so it's normal for him to be in his Guild." Sugarboy says it while smiling bitterly.
"Tsk! We heard that he wasn't in the Guild now, that's why we quickly moved to attack them. But why's he already here?" Edolas Erza grits her teeth.
Edolas Alex is the main reason they still can't eradicate Edolas Fairy Tail. The Guild has become stronger since he became the Guild Master. He is known to be a strong fighter, a smart strategist, and a great magic engineer.
In Edolas, what's called as Magic is actually Magic Item. No one here has magic power in their body, except for the Exceeds. The only way to utilize the magic power in this world is by using Magic Items.
Edolas Alex is someone who doesn't just make those Magic Items, he is someone who creates the concepts of those Magic Items. He has created many new Magic Items and improve many more of them.
His presence in Fairy Tail as a Magic Engineer is already a great reason for their Guild's power. After all, he can create powerful Magic Items for all of their members, and the levels of the Magic Items he created are on par with the Kingdom's top level Magic Engineers.
It's even more troublesome for the Kingdom since Alex is also a good strategist. The current Edolas Fairy Tail is like an elite batallion complete with their powerful Magic. That's why the Kingdom still can't defeat them even after eradicating so many Magic Guilds.
Instead of getting weaker, Edolas Fairy Tail is getting stronger. It's because they took in the surviving members of the Magic Guilds that the Kingdom eradicated. They still lose members every now and then, but they keep getting fresh blood too.
"You really are persistent, like some pests." Edolas Alex says it while smirking with the rifle on his shoulder.
"That's our line. You guys are the pests to the Kingdom." Edolas Erza feels very annoyed.
"Oh, maybe you're right. We are the pests and pests can always escape from the farmers no matter what pesticide you use."
Edolas Alex shoots another big magic bullet. But then the big magic bullet breaks apart into many small magic bullets that rain at the Army Commanders' group from all sides, forcing all of them to defend themselves again.
"Are we ready to jump, Levy?" Edolas Alex asks as soon as they arrive in the building.
"Y-yes! But who are those people?" Levy asks because the Earthlanders look awfully familiar.
"Don't worry about that and just jump now! I don't want to fight the 4 of them at the same time and I'm sure they have reinforcements coming soon as usual." Edolas Alex is very calm while giving order as he stands on the door to make sure he can respond to the enemies' movements anytime.
Levy quickly activates the device and the whole Guild building disappears right when the enemies are finally ready to attack again. Edolas Erza and co are very frustrated now because Fairy Tail always manages to get away from them.
