Teth, the Outer Rim…973 ARR…
Teth with its purple sky and forests was one of the more unique worlds that Haron had ever seen, especially with the tall peaks with monasteries on top of them.
That was one of the few perks of living the way he did, constantly on the move was that you got to see so much more of the galaxy than if he had been able to stay at home.
Even if it was chasing after scumbags.
The bodies around him were a case in point, a crew of thieves that had been pulling all kinds of heists and other jobs often with a lot of violence and were wanted by not only several victims of their robberies but also law enforcement agencies across the galaxy and while many wanted them alive, more than a few preferred them dead. So he had tracked them down and wiped them out while they were stealing a very impressive collection of Corusca Gems from one of the Hutts that had claimed this palace, after they had killed most of the people here to get to them.
Haron shook his head at their brazen and ultimately stupid actions, making so many enemies they were bound not to live very long. The Hutt they had robbed before this one was a cousin to Jabba, head of arguably the powerful Hutt family in the Underworld and he had hired Haron to take them out for him. The gems would no doubt be the icing on the cake as Jabba wanted them and already a trusted lieutenant of his was spiriting them away while leaving Haron with a generous bounty. Also being in the good graces of a powerful Hutt Crime Lord was also a very good thing.
Haron himself walked from the place, seeing the remaining servants and retainers were already looting the dead and their former master before their bodies were even cold. He shook his head at the avarice around him but contented himself with the knowledge of a job well done. However they all gave him a wide berth, looking at him with fear given how quickly had dispatched the thieves and that he now wore a full suit of Mandalorian Armour painted with crimson and orange.
He returned to his ship and decided to stay on the planet for a couple of days before going off in search of his next job, taking his armour off and checking it and his equipment for damage. They needed a little work for scorching but little else which made him smile, having a full suit of Mandalorian armour was a blessing since it could shrug off most blaster hits and gave good protection from melee attacks. With the updated optics and scanner in the helmet and the in built comlink he also didn't need to carry as much equipment as before.
He had a bandolier with his ammo packs and a few frag grenades while basic other equipment was around the belt at his waist. It had taken him a few months of searching around Dxun, Taris and other places his people had once operated not to mention hunting down people who used stolen Mandalorian gear. He had gotten a few different pieces from all over and while most were out of date but still they were Mandalorian and kept them for no other reason than they could be useful for the beskar if he ever needed to replace his existing gear.
Staring at his helmet for a moment Haron sighed, despite his recent success a message from Deera had recently warned him not to return home as their father had still refused to let him come home. He was starting to realise much to his frustration that his father had no intention of ever letting him back regardless of what he did and would likely have to wait until his father died which could he thought with anger take a long time.
It did surprise him on some level how used he was to considering Ordo home but for once he had family that actually care for him...something he had never had before and something he was eager to hold on too.
A dark thought that maybe he should kill his father crossed his mind but he dismissed that quickly, he was not yet at the point were he was desperate and killing his father and being caught or found out would be worse as it would almost certainly mean execution at worst or banishment at best.
He decided instead to access the holonet and check on his recent investments to see if they were baring fruit to try and lift his already flagging mood. He admitted some of them had been odd choices but he had known in his 'gut' somehow that they would be good investments, BlasTech was one of the more stable ones as was Merr-Sonn Munitions as they were high quality weapon manufacturers which was something that always made money. Tibanna Gas Operations on Bespin was perhaps the next best one as they created good quality gas and his investment had aided them in them updating and expanded their operation on the so called 'Cloud City'. Tibanna being a vital component of many different devices ranging from weapons and hyperdrives to standard heating systems it always had buyers and this was top notch stuff Bespin was selling.
So they were definitely he saw with satisfaction earning him good money, as were many of his older smaller investments.
Others however did seem very slow compared to them, these were the companies his 'gut' or rather that force/magic had guided him too.
Three stood out from the majority of them; Incom Corporation, Koensayr Manufacturing and Rothana Heavy Engineering. Rothana was a subsidiary of Kuat Drive Yards and seemed to be involved in a lot of projects which seemed to be doing well, that was a relief to him.
Koensayr meanwhile was a little more worrying, they were an older company that specialised in small craft like starfighters, vehicle parts and flight gear for pilots. They had a reputation for excellence in the quality of their equipment which lasted a lot time before needing to be replaced but no real big contracts and scraped by largely on their reputation and smaller contracts with planetary defence forces. Still they had a very interesting new project in the BTL-B Y-Wing Fighter Bomber which was very rugged and surprisingly capable if a bit slow. Somehow despite his doubts Haron knew that this situation would change in the next few years.
The final one though was the true wild card, Incom Corporation which was like Koensayr a starfighter production company that had branched out into airspeeders and transports. However they were a far smaller and younger company that while it had a reputation for being innovative had little else to its name. Unless something big happened in the next ten years or so many thought the company would either go under or be absorbed by one of the larger ones. However with his investment they had managed to complete a very interesting project without the need for a partnership with the Subpro Corporation which would have halved their potential profits, the Z-95 Headhunter. It was Haron admitted a very good starfighter with exceptional speed and manoeuvrability but still had energy shields and the armament to not only fight other starfighters but damage larger targets too. It had originally had drawbacks from the cramped cockpit and no hyperdrive or slots for an astromech droid but with some suggestions from him those problems had been addressed and fixed.
While it had only just been released messages from the Board of Directors assured him a number of contracts were in the works to produce the fighter in many areas. Military ones as well as private sector which did not sound too certain at present but did hopefully mean his investment was not going to be wasted.

He disconnected from the holonet and decided to spend the next few hours meditating, finding those different texts on Coruscant months ago had been one of the best discoveries he had made. Reading them had allowed him to deepen his connection to his powers and strengthen what he knew now was called his force augmentation, making his body stronger and faster while also helping his precognition in feeling events before they happened.
But Haron smiled as he felt objects moving around him as he meditated, moving objects might be a rudimentary skill on Earth but that was with a wand and few if any magicals had been able to do it without a foci. That was one of the better things about this way of learning to use magic or the Force, Haron could channel it straight through his body rather than a wand even if it was very limited it allowed him to be able to use it without being dependant on a foci. He had even managed to get his ability to apparate back he thought with pride.
Telekinesis was not the only thing he had learned to do, mind tricks which seemed to to a very powerful confundus charm now were a part of his arsenal and were he thought a useful tool for getting into places he wasn't allowed in or getting away in a hurry. He had even pushed those abilities further with some Sith tricks from three of the scrolls he had acquired Force Choke and the Memory Walk which he now knew was how Sith were able to able to extract information like Lexia had. The latter of which was proving very useful in getting information from unwilling people.
The cold feeling he got from using that power had disturbed him at first but as time went on it did get easier and felt less cold.
The other two scrolls however were less useful or appeared so, it had taken awhile to translate them properly but with the aid of a contact he had managed to read them. One contained a long winded history of the Sith Lord that wrote it and was not only boring but completely useless. The other however might have been intriguing as it contained star charts and what looked like maps but the information on it was so old none of it made any sense any more. So barring he find some way of correcting this it was likely to remain a mystery as what it led too.
However what was not a mystery was that lightsabers were far more useful weapons than many believed, he now had two and with the aid of the texts on fighting with and making them had started to practice. He already knew how to fight with a sword thanks to the training he had gotten from his uncles as after all a blaster without ammo was as useful as a rock, he thought in his own mind that he was getting good at it but it would be a long while before he dared use one to fight a Jedi if it ever came to that.
However he left those thoughts behind as he emptied his mind and tried to deepen his understanding of magic or the force, he still could not decide what to call it he thought with frustration.

A Few Days Later…
Still on Teth as he took a few days off Haron was reading a data packet he had received from a contact of his, it appeared there had been some kind of major heist on the planet Byblos. While he had never been there himself Haron knew there was a big shipyard there operated by several companies. Apparently a company known as simply as Innovation which specialised in refitting already built starships to an owner's personal wishes had just finished a complete refit of a brand new CR90 Corellian Corvette for some major figure in the Trade Federation with incredible paranoia. So paranoid he had wanted to use the fast and sleek ship as his personal home to isolate himself from people he was sure was trying to kill him. He hadn't even trusted any local manufacturers and instead bought it from Corellia direct.
They had given it the best technology on the market, upgraded the engines and refitted it with military grade proton torpedoes, lasers and turbolasers. They had increased the automation so only three people on the bridge and one person in engineering was required to crew it and installed a very expensive cloaking device so this Neimoidian could out run or hide with his droid crew. The new client had only had his special ship for an hour when a group of pirates had killed him and stolen the ship.
Already in the last month they had used the ship to attack two space liners and either killed everyone aboard or sold them into slavery. The fast and invisible ship was far too hard to find and his contact had thought maybe Haron would want to have a crack at it.
Haron disliked these kind of people on principle and whether or not they had a ship like that he would have gone after them any way.
So he fixed the ship and pirates in his mind and sat down to meditate, something he had learned from Rajivari in his book gaining insight from meditation. Opening up his mind to the force and letting it guide him to where he needed to go. It took a few minutes of trying but he soon saw a space liner near Balmorra Run, an old smuggler route.
Although still new to this skill he was certain this would be where the pirates attacked next and he would be ready for them Haron thought as he broke his meditation and got the ship ready to fly.
Balmorra Run, Three Days Later…
The reason for smugglers liking the Balmorra Run was that it was avoided by most space travellers including law enforcement, mainly due to the Giant Neebray Mantas nesting there. This means of course Haron was able to hide there too as he waited patiently.
He sat back in his pilot's chair and wondered as the third day arrived if he had trusted too much in his vision, he was still new to this power and was not sure just how accurate they could be. Foretelling the future was something he had an aversion too anyway after all the stuff that had happened to him when he was tied up with the prophesy, but he decided to give it one more day and then reassess.
Haron was just about to go and get a caff when finally something happened.
The space liner moved into position close by to allow the guests aboard a chance to enjoy their dinner with a view of Balmorra Run he supposed when suddenly and without warning the corvette he was looking for appeared and the moment it dropped its cloak, opened fire into the side of the unsuspecting liner. Lasers mercilessly ripped into the shield projector, sublight engines and bridge. The liner began to drift as it lost power while the corvette circled it and continued to fire at spots on the hull, knocking out the hyperdrive and making sure it could not escape.
Haron without waiting another second grabbed the throttle and pushed his ship forward, seeing the corvette dock with the space liner he went for a similar docking port nearby. He quickly lined up his ship and docked, leaping from his seat he picked up his helmet and put it on as he opened the airlock and entered the space liner.
Running through the corridors he heard blaster fire and charged in its direction, seeing a gang of rough looking pirates fighting with someone in full Mandalorian Armour much to his surprise. The shape of the armour revealed it was a she and he noted with admiration that she certainly could shoot like one too.
Haron however decided to not waste time by staring at her shooting in admiration and instead drew his pistols and joined her, the pirates went down even faster lacking decent armour. They turned to look at each other, neither able to see anything beyond their height as the armour covered them from head to toe. But with the common threat gone they both aimed their guns on each other.
"You deserve to wear that armour?" Haron asked tensely, she might shoot like a Mandalorian and wear the armour but that didn't make her one, she could be a mere thief who used it like so many others. She was however not one to back down it seemed and aimed her own blasters squarely at his eyes.
"Do you?" She challenged him and for a few moments they held their stand-off, neither pulling the trigger but both ready to do so if either of them moved so much as an inch.
The stalemate was broken when a scream for help came from down the hall and both of them abandoned the stand-off to pursue the source. It came from one of the ship's reception areas nearest the docking port and both of them, their suspicions forgotten as they raised their weapons only to see something or rather someone that stopped them both cold.
As passengers and some crew cowered at the side of the room a man at the centre was fighting against the pirates but not with blasters but instead his hands and feet. In an astonishing display of athleticism he was moving almost faster than the eye could follow and his fists were slamming into people with enough force to send them flying hard into the wall opposite and cave in the surface.
He turned to face them and instinct had them both raise their blasters at him while he looked ready to charge them, however now he was not moving so fast they could clearly see his face.
"Neville!" "Longbottom!?" They both said in surprise and shock, turning to each other as they realised that both of them knew him too. Neville meanwhile looked at them with confusion, especially as they took off their helmets to see just who they were dealing with.
All three of them stared at each other in shock, today it seemed was a day for reunions.
For Haron and Ara/Daphne it was a day they had thought would never come, seeing someone from Earth again. They just stared at each other for a moment, not sure what to say given the history between them. Forced into marriage and dying in each other's arms...whatever else had passed between them they were still strangers to each other but now they were living memories of the world they had come from.
They all looked to see Hannah running down the hall with with a strange looking polearm in hand but stopped when she saw them, her face blinked in surprise at them being there but said with confusion.
"I was going to say you're never going to believe this but maybe you will." She said nodding her head down the hall. Sharing a look they all moved forward expecting to see a pile of pirates all dead but strangely they had all seemed to shoot each other and standing there with the same airy smile that she had always worn on Earth was Luna. She turned to them and said with a warmth that was completely contrary to the slaughter around her.
"My friends."
-x-
The pirates had not been expecting to have such force powered and trained opponents to deal with, nor had they been ready for a prolonged fight as their usual tactic was to use a vicious hit and run attack to strike from nowhere and once they had grabbed whatever they wanted disappear again just as quickly.
However between them the pirates had been wiped out, they had only been around thirty or so and nearly all had boarded the starliner. Once those onboard were dealt with it was almost laughably easy to board the pirates stolen corvette and they watched in fascinated horror as Luna cast illusions so real that even they were fooled, the pirates actually shot and killed each other. None of them had ever seen anything like it and they were more than a little afraid of her new power.
But she just kept smiling, not dimmed in the slightest as what she had done and after disposing of all the bodies out of the airlock and docking the Razor Crest onto the corvette they waited for the starliner to finish repairs to the hyperdrive so they could jump to a safer location.
The corvette hung in space while they explored it and saw that it was typically of a Neimoidian, red drapes covered the walls, and it had all the most luxurious fittings and features you could imagine. They were amazed at the level of automation it had, due to the special systems and a considerable number of droids it could be run by a crew as small as four.
So they set the hyperdrive for the pirates base, wanting to ensure they had gotten them all and to have a safe place to talk. Haron and Ara/Daphne sat on the far too comfortable chairs on the bridge and stared at the tunnel of hyperspace in silence, that old awkwardness still there as they reconciled with the fact they weren't alone any more.
Haron finally couldn't take it any more and had to ask something.
"Where were you born into?"
She frowned at the question but as sick as he was with the silence she decided to answer.
"Into a clan called Wren, they expected me to marry the prick who leads the house they are sworn too..." She said and Haron raised an eyebrow.
"Pre Vizsla? That arsehole." Haron said with surprise, he knew that family was a prideful bunch that was as bad as the purebloods back on Earth in regards to seeing themselves as 'Rightfully Mandalorian' he thought with disgust. The only thing that eased his mind about him going after his sister now Daphne was here was that there had been a house war between their families sixty years ago which his grandfather had won and left Vizsla disgraced. They would never even consider marrying an Ordo.
"The same, but thankfully a kick to the balls has the same effect on men whatever planet your on." She said with a vicious smirk which unnerved him a little but he nodded, despite not really knowing her that well it was just like her. He handed her a drink from the machine, she took it but as they did their fingers touched briefly and they felt a warm but pleasant sensation. They both suddenly withdrew in shock, staring at their hands as if they were alien objects before looking each other in the eye.
"You cannot be serious." Daphne said with annoyance, Harry frowned too before showing he was just as irritated as she was by this new discovery.
"We're still married! How?! We died!"
The sensation they got when they touched was the marriage bond established by the old way ceremony their grandfather's had chosen. Once complete it was forever and irreversible. That was one reason it had fallen out of favour not to mention breaking it by sleeping with other people had some pretty bad consequences for both husband and wife. It was dangerous and that was why it was hardly ever used and could apparently follow them into the next life as they were now discovering.
Now they stared at each other, again realising that their lives were entangled in such a way they could never be free again. They were stuck with each other whether they liked it or not, depression fell upon them.
If they ever got to the afterlife their grandfathers had a lot to answer for they both thought to themselves before Haron said with resignation.
"I know we didn't want this, I know we fucked it all up last time but I will not waste time again. As we learned on Earth life is too short for that, we have been given a second chance somehow and I am not going to waste it." He told her sounding far older than he looked but she nodded and added.
"We might not have wanted to get married or even know each other but you are right. We are stuck together and being angry about it just wastes time and keeps us miserable. We should get to know each other but don't think for a second Mr Haron Ordo that you will be getting your 'marriage rights' anytime soon." She said jabbing her finger into his chest.
That made him smile, feeling as if they had just made a step in the right direction.
"Heaven forbid Mrs Ara Wren. We are different people here and I won't push you into anything you don't want." He told her, she grimaced a bit at the name but decided it was time to accept that was who she was now.
Harry Potter and Daphne Greengrass had died with the Earth, it was now time for them to find out who they were as Haron Ordo and Ara Wren especially together.

A short later they arrived at the Pirate Hideout, they had not been sure just what to expect but it seemed these pirates were smarter than most and luckier as they had found what could be the perfect hideout.
"Is that an asteroid base?" Hannah asked in astonishment. Such bases required a lot of investment to build, far more than any pirate group could afford without the biggest horde imaginable and a very forward thinking leader.
"Must be an old base they stumbled on, scanners aren't showing any life signs but we'll be careful all the same." Haron said with stern eyes. He took the controls and guided the corvette carefully into the landing bay, he closed his eyes and let his senses extend themselves out into the base but felt no-one waiting for them.
"Come on." Ara said as she got to her feet with her blasters already in hand. Hannah frowned at the idea of them all going.
"Shouldn't one of us stay behind or we split into pairs? Get the job done quicker." She said trying to be helpful but Ara gave her a deadpan look.
"Says no one with any sense of self preservation, we are safer as a group now come on."
Hannah looked affronted at the put down as did Neville regarding the insult towards his wife but Ara paid them no attention and led them into the base, the hanger was poorly lit but full of half empty cargo crates, many different logos on them showing that they were prizes of all the raids. Haron walked over and checked them, looking inside there was nothing but a few ration packs and broken parts.
So taking point he led them into the base, using the torches clipped to his helmet and Ara's to see the way. The corridors were filled with rubbish and clearly no one had done any cleaning for some time or maintenance they noted as the lights flickered on and off. They saw a vandalized logo on one of the walls that revealed just who had built the base.
"Czerka." Neville noted with distaste, although the company was now long gone having folded under the weight of newer corporations over a century ago it had been known for thousands of years for dirty deals and being the first to enslave Kashyyyk as far as they knew. This he realised must had been one of the secret little bases where they conducted research that was often against Galactic law he fumed. He dreaded to think of the things that they could have cooked up here.
"Let's get moving." Luna said looking past them like she was aware of something they weren't.
Thankfully the base was actually very small, only one level with twenty rooms of different sizes ranging from broom closets to large chambers.
"Not much treasure for a pirate lair." Ara said with slight disappointment as they found very little of use or interest. Haron merely shrugged at her disappointment before giving her some insight.
"Stories about pirate treasure are often exaggerated or outright fairy-tales, pirates would only hide treasure for a short time before spending it. Anything they loot goes that way quickly, this place was just a place to lay low until the heat died down." Haron said. They all looked at him with surprise on their faces.
"And how would you know that?" Neville asked confused at how Harry/Haron knew so much about pirates. Haron smirked and told them.
"I hunt pirates for a living, at least sometimes. Believe me you get to know how they think and operate after awhile."
They shared a look as Haron took point, checking each room one by one until two hours later they felt the base was safe enough to relax. There was little to nothing here that interested any of them except an ancient looking droid head that Luna seemed to take a shine too. So they went back to the ship and sat themselves down in what they suspected was a throne room for its original owner but now had been turned into some kind of crew lounge. They sat on the deep red sofas and told each other what had happened to them. First though Luna had a difficult confession to make, one she had dreaded making but she knew she had too.
"I saw the end of the world before it happened." She told them solemnly, causing them to all look at her in horror. "I saw us trying to stop it and fail with everything we tried because it was the sun itself that turned against us and our magic was nothing against its power. But I didn't want it all to die, so I found the amulets and passed one to each of you, so we could be reborn again."
They all looked at her, not sure what to say. Luna's eyes eyes fell and her heart sank, they were angry at her she thought with misery as she knew that her friends were going to reject her...and she'd be on her own again. The world that had seemed so bright when at last they had found each other again now seemed to dim into an empty void of nothing where only bad things dwelled. All her childhood she had been lonely, most of her time at Hogwarts too but then she had met Harry and been welcomed into his circle and she had been accepted for who she was, strange beliefs and all.
All that was over now she thought with sadness.
However she felt a hand touch hers and saw Neville and Harry were both holding a hand and smiling at her.
"We are together now, whatever else happened is in the past and you're right. What good would it had done letting everyone know they were about to be wiped out? Mass panic and chaos? Better a sudden shock." Haron said to her while Neville nodded in agreement. They did not necessary believe that but it was the truth...how would knowing the world was about to end help anyone? There was no way to stop it, no way to survive it. Better to not know and live your life they supposed. Ara looked like she was about to argue but was silenced with a hard look from Hannah who gently rubbed Luna's shoulders.
Luna seemed to perk up at that, realising that her friends didn't hold what she had done against her. They were still her friends and she smiled brightly again before throwing her arms around both Haron and Neville who accepted it and hugged her back.
Hannah waited for them to let each other go, still a little jealous of the tight bond the three of them shared but content in the one she had with her husband, only to be shocked when Luna gave her a hug too which she returned. Still she thought it best they bring each other up to date with their lives so far in this new world.
"I'll start first, I was born into the Matukai. They use magic...the force to augment their physical bodies and control them. I learned to fight, fight well to and wield this strange axe thing they use. Then I met Neville again." She said with smile, glad to have found her husband again, he reached out and squeezed her hand, giving her a smile back. The gesture made Haron and Ara feel uncomfortable when they considered that they had been married too and had never done anything even remotely as loving as that.
"I was found by the Wardens of the Sky, they use the force to fight and augment their bodies in much the same way that the Matukai do. We patrol the space lanes and deal with those that threaten regular travellers." Neville said proudly, it felt good to him to be a protector of innocent people something that he had always felt was out of his league before but here they were getting a second chance at life and this time he vowed not to let his fear of not being good enough hold him back.
Luna then explained her new origin. "I was born into the Fallanasi, a group that uses the force to see beyond the physical world and create illusions. And that is how I know that this is important." She said holding up the ancient droid head she had found.
It looked they all noticed with some apprehension like a skull, an orange skull with lenses for eyes and a voice box where the mouth would be. It looked sinister and Luna just smiled as she hooked it up to a computer terminal, brining up data from its old datacore.
"It points to something being hidden on the planet Lehon, it also mentions a name...Revan." She told them with her light tone, not knowing the significance of the name. Haron meanwhile jumped to his feet, knowing full well how important Revan was and if this was something he hid away...then it might be worth a look.
Lehon, the edge of the Unknown Regions…
This system had been largely forgotten by the wider galaxy, lying in the Tempered Wastes where very few things existed and it didn't have very much to interest people into visiting.
However it was a beautiful world all the same, most of its surface was covered with clear blue water broken only by the occasional islands and archipelagoes. The surface was warm like the tropics had been back on Earth, devoid of sentient life to pollute it the only sights of life anyone being there was ruined temples and ancient wrecked starships.
Two moons were orbiting around the planet, all quite normal but as you got closer to the planet several large rings of different types of debris could be seen encircling the planet. Remnants of the battle and once great space station that had once stood in this system.
But as the five of them approached in the corvette (even Neville in the engine room) they all felt a deep feeling of cold as they approached the planet. For most of them it was the first time they had ever felt such a thing but Haron had experienced this sensation before, on Coruscant coming from two fallen Jedi.
"That is dark magic, the dark side taint as the Jedi call it. Bad things happened here with magic...the force whatever you want to call it and echo still. I received a little training in the Jedi arts." Haron said with tension gripping him, not liking this planet one little bit. Even if this was the place that his ancestor in this life had fought at Revan's side to save the galaxy from Darth Malak, he didn't want to be here for very long.
The rest of them, even Luna looked at him with surprise and a little apprehension, never having heard him like this before. He frowned as they looked at the navigational hell the debris caused, it would be a challenge getting down to the surface of the planet with all that crap in the way. Getting back up could be even worse he thought with concern and thinking maybe they should abandon this.
But when he looked to Luna she gave him this pleading look that honestly he had forgotten she had, he felt his resolve breaking and with a sigh asked her.
"Where on the planet are we going Luna? There are a lot of islands." He said needing to know where to go. She closed her eyes and looked almost like she was asleep for a moment before telling them.
"There." She pointed at the southern hemisphere, towards a chain of islands isolated from the rest. "The biggest one."
They all looked at the location where she was pointing and all thought carefully about this as it was the last chance to back out. But Luna had gotten them through an apocalypse, they owned her this.
"Strap in." Harry said as he took the pilot's station and as soon as the others were secure, he engaged sublight engines and guided them carefully into the debris field.
Immediately they were nearly hit by a large metallic piece but with instincts honed over two lifetimes he carefully steered them around it, the better engines fitted to this ship helping him a great deal as they started down. The others all looked white as they saw the debris flying all around them with only Haron's flying abilities to keep them safe.
Haron though was feeling more in touch with his magic or the force then ever, it seemed to guide his hand letting him know just where he had to be to avoid the next hazard. It was more instinctive than conscious but he was more relaxed yet focused than at any point in his life.
It didn't take long for him to get the ship through the dangerous part and into the atmosphere, they all breathed a sigh of relief as the ship reached safety seeing the island coming up ahead of them. It was they saw quite hilly and with a number of large rocky outcroppings, not many places that they could land but near the beach there was a grassy field that was just large enough for the corvette so that was where Haron put them down.
-x-
The sun was warm and almost comforting as they stepped out of the ship were it not for the dark side aura that clung to this planet like a limpet. Otherwise they realised this place would be a good planet to take a vacation on once the debris was cleared away.
Well that and what awaited them as they exited the ship.
They all walked down the ramp and saw the white sand and clear ocean, there was a breeze that seemed to lower the heat to an acceptable level and all seemed quiet. However the dark side aura made them reluctant to drop their guard. Haron and Ara both kept their blasters handy and both had their full armour on. The pair went out first, not sure of what to expect here as the Republic had deleted a lot of the data held on this planet for some stupid reason.
The silence of the environment was spooky, nothing but the wind seemed to be making a sound but the two of them knew something wasn't right here. They moved onwards, keeping their weapons handy as they crept forward, the hair on the backs of their necks standing on edge.
Then the silence was broken by a horribly familiar roar, Haron had heard that sound on some of the worlds he visited and knew full well only one creature made a roar like that.
"Rancors!" He called out to his fellows, thankfully all of them knowing the reputation of these alpha predators even if they had never seen them and prepared to retreat back to the ship.
Around the corner they heard footsteps and saw to their horror that he was right, there was no mistaking that dark brown hide or sharp jagged teeth with clawed arms on two hind legs. Their slobber and snarling was all too familiar, however one thing that did surprise them was that they were far smaller than expected, larger than a human just but still more squat than towering. And there was five of them.
But Haron and Ara thought with gritted teeth, still very dangerous drawing their blasters.
The pack of five charged but while Ara used her wrist-mounted flamethrower to scare four of them back Haron used his cable gun on his gauntlet to tangle up the feet of the fifth. The creature stumbled over and trashed around in a panic before Haron got close enough and unloaded several blaster shots straight into creature's head at point blank range. It might be strong but even the rancor's hide couldn't protect it against such a close shot to the head.
Ara then concentrated her flame on one specific rancor, the creature roared out in pain as its thick skin burned and it screeched one last time before falling over dead.
Haron then took his beskar spear which he now carried for good luck and waited for one of the remaining three to charge at him before stabbing the spear straight into its head. Ara too waited for it to get close before spinning away with the grace of a professional dancer and jumping onto the creature's back and stabbing the wrist mounted blade she had on her vambrace straight into its head.
The creature fell over dead and the pair of them looked at the remaining mini-rancor which howled at the deaths of its pack, however without missing a beat the pair drew their blasters and started shooting. Two blaster pistols each now unloaded shots as fast as they could, the rancor charged, trying to get to them but its steps became quickly laboured as it was hit so often even its strong hide couldn't protect it. It stumbled and fell, its wounds too great to move but they still shot a few more into it just to make sure it was dead.
Neville and Hannah had been ready to help in whatever way they could but astonished at how easily Haron and Ara had dispatched the rancors, smaller they might be but still enough to be a considerable threat. Luna however looked sad.
"They were only hungry." She told them almost like she was scolding them. They only turned to her in exasperation before she continued speaking. "There are only gizka to eat here, small and almost no meat. I can keep them away, just don't hurt them any more." She said with an almost pleading look in her eye.
Ara looked ready to lambast Luna for her rather naivety view, rancors were extremely vicious regardless of their size. Haron seeing an argument coming and stepped in to try and keep the peace.
"Luna if you think you can use your powers to keep them away okay but if they get close enough I' am not going to let them eat us...understood?" He said with a serious stare, Luna stared at him for a moment like she was going to argue but smiled her strange smile and nodded very quickly and skipped off just like she had at school.
They all stared for a moment, glad in Haron and Neville's that she would never change before following her up the hill to make sure she was okay. They refrained from speaking as the chance of running into more of those mini-rancors made them all want to be more vigilant.
However Luna was as good as her word as the beasts of the island stayed away, they moved forward all feeling the same inexplicable pull towards a rocky outcropping. It looked like nothing but somehow they all knew something was there. Harry moved carefully closer and saw behind one of the larger rocks a door had been very carefully concealed, stepping back he took a deep breath and called on all the lessons he had picked up in the Jedi & Sith texts. Stretching out his hand towards the rock he tried his best to grab a hold of it, feeling its smooth surface without his hand even touching it. Wrapping his grip around it as best he could he started to try and lift it, the rock at first refused to move and he screwed up his face in concentration, pulling harder to try and make it move.
Slowly but surely it began to lift itself free of the ground, sweat was coming off his brow as the effort required to move it was at the limits of his own telekinesis. It got roughly five to six inches off the ground before he with a growing headache managed to force it away from the hidden door.
The others looked on in surprise, none of them had the raw strength or training to move such a large boulder and Haron was panting with the effort, he really needed a teacher he thought to get better at this. Ara came over and gave him a canteen of water which he took with a grateful nod of the head, Luna meanwhile brought out their skull like droid head and found an old looking control pad carefully putting in the numbers that she had recovered from the droid's memories.
Nothing happened at first but slowly and with a great metallic groan the door opened, the light from the sun was at their backs and illuminated the chamber inside easily. They all looked in eager to see just what was inside and gaped at the size of it.
A vast chamber lay beyond with what looked like piles of storage crates and a large computer terminal of a design they had never seen before.

Using rocks to wedge the door open just in case it decided to close on them and leaving Neville, Luna and Hannah outside Haron and Ara went inside to explore just what it was they had found.
The first chamber was piled high with different sized supply crates, opening a few they discovered old, no ancient looking blasters and vibroswords. Ammo packs that had long since expired and grenades that were well past useful. Clearly this had been here for an extremely long time and it made them feel less likely to find anything useful, however they moved on and opened one of the side doors which revealed a smaller chamber off off the main one.
Inside display cases were strange looking objects of different shapes and sizes, some were shaped like cubes and others like pyramids. Ara had never seen one of these things before but he had from his reading of Jedi and Sith lore.
"These are holocrons." He told her with surprise, knowing full well how rare these things were and quickly he counted around twelve of them. Ara however didn't know what he was talking about.
"What are holocrons?" She asked annoyed thinking they were just trinkets.
"Devices that function as libraries of knowledge for the Jedi and the Sith, with these we can finally get a better handle on our magic again." Haron told her with a smile and she nodded now getting why they were important.
He looked over to see one of the holocrons was dodecahedron-shaped. It was also larger than the others by nearly three times so Haron knew it was important and he would have to look into this later. Looking along the wall he saw that the display cases also had a few very old lightsabers and a collection of small crystals that looked similar to kyber crystals.
Moving on they looked into the other side chambers and found a room full of rusted old droids with heads similar to the old that had brought them here, a large ancient looking device that they didn't recognise, another room with display cases that seemed to contain different relics that had their own force aura and in the last of the side rooms a discovery that shook both him and Ara.
Seven suits of what looked like Mandalorian Neo-Crusader armour with the larger helmet and smaller t-shaped visor. They were coloured white which was unusual but had a distinctive red hand print on the chest. The design was unique to one group within Mandalorian history, the ancient predecessors to the modern day Protectors...the Bloodguard, the personal guard of the Mandalore himself 4000 years ago. They had been the greatest warriors in Mandalorian space, renown for their great deeds and skills, they even had special armour made with a unique type of Beskar found on Mandalore. It was far more durable and as light as regular beskar but only a small amount had ever been found, enough for ten suits and that was it. One for the Mandalore and nine for the Bloodguard.
Revan had killed most of the Bloodguard during the war and taken their suits, only the suit of the Mandalore himself had ever been returned and it had been lost during the New Sith Wars a thousand years ago. Now here were seven of the ten in pristine condition for their age, out of date but the metal was still good.
"Enough for all of us to have a special suit." Ara said with a smile, however Haron frowned at that. Not because he didn't want his friends to have the best armour possible, but because if any true Mandalorians realised they weren't actually Mandalorians then they would honour bound to kill them and recover the armour like he had been in some respects to retrieve the pieces he had.
There were ways around this he knew, if they swore to uphold themselves to the Mandalorian way and pledged themselves to a clan or house then they were considered Mandalorian by law and allowed to wear the armour. It was rare but it was allowed.
Still it would take them awhile to figure out what they had found here and what Revan had left behind. Some of the crates in the side chambers had stockpiles of valuable materials, a potential fortune but apart from that and the other items they'd found the Rakatan computer had massive amounts of data in it that would take time to sort through and study to see just what they had.
Later that night as they sat down together for an evening meal Luna who had looked at the holocrons when they were brought up with awe made a suggestion that had been on her mind since they had found each other again.
"Maybe we should create an order of our own?" She suggested, they all turned to look at her so she elaborated. "I mean the Jedi and the Sith are two ends of the scales, they are so off kilter that it hurts the galaxy. We can use the knowledge from the vault and our own skills to make a new group of our own, the fighting skills of the Wardens/Mandalorians/Matukai, the mental &illusionary powers of the Fallanasi, the telekinesis & other powers of the Jedi and the Sith and so much more. We don't have to limit ourselves to the 'Light' or the 'Dark' as they do but try and stay in the middle."
It was they realised a very tantalising idea, to share their talents and use this new treasure trove of knowledge they had to create something of their own. Perhaps rediscover more of their old magic along the way, none of the order's that currently existed seemed balanced the Jedi and Sith especially.
This way they could find their own path and see where it led them.

As the others were bringing up stuff from the vault a couple of days later, Haron and Ara stood in front of a forge they had managed to assemble and began to reforge two of the Bloodguard suits, their old armours had been reflections of who they had been but now that they were embarking on this new adventure perhaps it was time to make a new set.
The metal was harder to melt down than normal beskar had been but with time they managed to reduce it down to its molten form and cast it in moulds they had made, careful to make sure the right amount made it in but no more so that none of the precious metal would be wasted. Working on each piece with the utmost care they sculpted their new armour, not taking a break during the long time it took to rework the metal until the job was done.
Standing back, exhausted but proud they looked at the two suits of armour. Made of the special beskar they gleamed with the fresh finish and while they would decorate them their own way later and fit them with all the gadgets and technology modern suits had this was the first time they had actually forged their own armour.
Turning to each other they smiled, feeling very much that this was the beginning of something great.
