Andrew didn't have to wait for long to get the answer regarding tonight's activities.
The girl entered the bedroom wearing another almost transparent nightgown but this time it was shorter reaching only to the middle of her thighs.
If the previous night's outfit made her look sexy, this one was an open invitation or even a challenge, thrown his way.
As any real man, he could only accept the challenge.
He waited for her to get into the bed before sweeping her into his embrace, surprising her completely.
Before she could even yelp when he pulled her into his arms her lips were covered by his in a fiery kiss.
This was something she had never experienced till now and it took her totally by surprise, and that was just the beginning.
While he was passionately kissing her, and she even started to respond, his hands were slowly and tenderly exploring her body.
Aelita panicked at first since things were progressing too fast for her liking, and she wanted to resist his advances, but the sensation of a passionate kiss added to the pleasure of his touch on her body quickly broke through her resistance almost like it was never there.
It only took a few seconds before her instincts kicked in and she surrendered to him completely.
Andrew got lost in passion, and the only rational thought in his mind was to be tender with her, not wanting to hurt her during their first time.
His hands were wandering all over her body, touching her soft skin, and his lips were no longer content with just her lips, so his kisses moved all over her face, and her neck.
-AHhh…
Her body arched when he kissed a spot right behind her ear and a soft moan of pleasure came out of her lips.
-Proximity alert.
-Incoming vessel.
-Proximity alert.
Then suddenly an alarm started blaring.
The message repeated itself over and over again.
Andrew immediately stopped what he was doing, and only put his pants and shoes on, before running to the command center to see what was going on.
The moment he entered, he sat in the command chair, turning on the display from the sensors.
He saw a ship coming his way at an incredible speed. It was still two light minutes away, but according to the readings, it would arrive in less than an hour at its current speed.
He scanned the ship and it turned out to be almost identical to the last pirate ship he encountered.
-Fucking pirates, don't they have anything better to do?
He cursed them out loud.
Activating the communication module, he hailed them.
-This is station master, Andrew Sparrow, your ship is on a collision course with my station, change your heading immediately.
His only answer was silence.
Andrew decided to wait for a few minutes, before trying again.
A moment after he got to the command center, Aelita also came, wearing a bathrobe to cover herself, and she even brought him a t-shirt to wear.
She took her station at the engineering console.
-All systems, are functional, the shields are up and the weapons are charged.
She reported after taking a look at the data on her holoscrean.
-Thank you.
He said calmly.
It was the second time he had to deal with the pirates, but just like before, he remained calm and collected, despite the fury, burning inside of him.
A few minutes went by and Andrew hailed the ship again and once more he was left without an answer.
With that, he prepared to open fire on the ship to force it to change course.
Before he started shooting, he tried to heil them for the third time.
-This is station master Andrew Sparrow, this is your last warning, either change your heading, or you will be fired upon.
He again waited for a few minutes, but there was still no answer.
Without waiting any longer, he targeted the ship and fired his cannons.
The twelve cannons placed on this side of the station opened up sending thousands of rounds toward the ship, but it still didn't show any sign of changing course or even trying an evasive action.
It took the rounds, a few minutes to reach the ship and slam into its shields which flared up from the incoming fire.
Under the onslaught of the armor-piercing and high explosive rounds from a dozen cannons, the ship's shields failed and the ship started taking hits directly which quickly revealed, that it had no atmosphere.
Seeing the holes open up in the hull but not a drop of any atmosphere leaked out, he finally realized what was the purpose of this ship.
It was used as a space version of a fireship, sent to ram the station.
With its size and velocity, the station would not stand a chance and either get destroyed or in the best-case scenario would be heavily damaged.
Whatever happened, there was bound to be another ship coming in after this one so Andrew could not waste ammunition to deal with this one, instead, he ordered the upgraded drones to put an asteroid on a collision course with the ship.
Now that its shields were down, the big rock could destroy it or at the very least change its course.
However, the plan only partially succeeded.
The ship rammed the asteroid which shattered on impact sending thousands of its pieces in every direction.
Some of them even struck the station but were stopped by the shields, preventing them from damaging the installation.
However, the shield's strength fell over 40% thanks to that and it would take some time to recharge them to full again.
The ship on the other hand tumbled into the asteroid belt and finally stopped on a big asteroid at least 50 times its size.
Andrew immediately, sent a scout drone to see if it was done for and if there was a chance to salvage anything from it.
While at the same time, he searched for the next ship that he was almost certain would be coming.
What he found was that the three pirate ships from the neighboring systems were missing, which meant that there would possibly be at least two more ships coming.
-Aelita, how long till the shields are recharged?
He asked the girl, who was doing her best to keep focused on her readouts and ignoring the fact that they just destroyed a ship.
-Three more minutes, to full strength, but if needed we can deploy them at any moment.
She said.
Aelita rerouted all the available power to recharge the shields faster while powering down all nonessential modules.
Andrew did the math in his head and it would take the fireship another ten minutes to collide with the station, and he was willing to bet that this would be the exact moment the other two ships would jump in.
This tactic was good, but it had one major flaw.
For it to work, you had to surprise the enemy, if you managed to do so, then it was your win, but if you failed and didn't retreat, you would never get another chance to use it.
The ten minutes went by in the blink of an eye, but the other ships didn't jump in.
The station's shields were back to full strength and active, at this time, but the enemy didn't show up.
It was another fifteen minutes later when the two ships jumped in, and they were so sure of the success that they didn't bother to keep a safe distance from the station, instead, they jumped in right in the middle of the effective range of the cannons.
It surprised the pirates that their systems informed them of a weapons lock on their ship right before, their shields started to flare from the incoming fire.
Seeing the two ships jumping out of FTL, so close to the station surprised Andrew at first, but he didn't give the pirates any chance to try and escape or fire back on his station.
The moment the cannons locked onto the targets, he opened fire.
The enemy's shields lit up when the rounds smashed into them.
That was the time, the human used his new weapon.
The railgun charged up and fired a projectile at an astonishing speed.
The metal slug with a tungsten core flew straight to the first ship and not only did it penetrate its weakened shield but also hit the ship bridge, tearing two bucket-sized holes in it.
One when it entered and the second when it left the ship on the other side.
The vessel immediately started to lose atmosphere, and with its shield down the cannons quickly turned it into Swiss cheese.
The second pirate ship tried to change course and escape, but it never stood a chance as the railgun fired once again, just a few seconds after the first shot.
This time the ship was pierced from stem to stern, leaving a hole in most compartments and venting atmosphere.
Andrew held his fire, not wanting to damage the second ship more than it already was.
The vessel lost its power and was now adrift, the same as its companion.
He scanned both ships and found some life signs on the second one but they were fading one after the other.
In less than 5 minutes there were no more life signs on board, marking the end of the battle.
All three ships were taken down, but this time Andrew was satisfied with ending them all.
In the end, they dared to interrupt his fun time with an alien beauty and now they paid the price.
