They left the three girls with Iliana in the medical module, while Andrew went back to the command center and Aelita decided to have a closer look at the ship and the fighters.
-Alright, but keep your armor for now, and if anything happens call it in immediately, no matter how small the incident or even if you think you just imagined it.
-The ship is powered down and so are the fighters, there is no danger there.
Not to mention the guardian drones around.
She protested.
-Just humor me.
There is something wrong with this whole situation and I prefer to be cautious until we can figure it all out.
-Is that why you sent guardian drones to guard the medical modules?
-Yes, we have no clue who these girls are or what's their story so until I can be certain that they pose no threat to us, I will assume that they are a threat.
Andrew answered.
-But they are just young girls.
Aelita said, not understanding his vigilance.
-Yeah, and Iliana was also just a doctor.
That didn't stop her from beating me up.
He reminded her.
This was enough for her to stop arguing about it.
-Alright, I get your point.
She relented.
-Just be careful, and if there is any trouble call immediately.
He said.
-Alright, see you later.
She said and returned to the hangar module housing the ship and fighters.
-How's it going?
Andrew asked entering the command center
-While you were dealing with the ship, Terelen reached the last station and is now coming back with it.
Other than that there is nothing much going on in the system or around it.
Lanarine reported.
-Good, let's hope that this whole thing can end without any additional drama.
He said with a tired voice.
-You might want to take a look at the research progress, there were some notifications about the research completion.
Lan Informed him.
The moment Andrew opened that panel, he saw that the tier 2 robotics research was finished along with railgun ammunition production research.
He immediately ordered the ammunition production module to be built and added the droid production module to the research list, along with the three droid models that were unlocked.
The first was the maintenance droid, designed to repair the station from inside and keep all the modules in tip-top shape.
The second one was the cleaning droid, whose name explained its function and the last one was a medical droid, designed to assist in the medical module, or in the absence of a doctor to perform any emergency treatment.
Along with that, there were a bunch of research topics that were unlocked and Andrew added a few more to the list.
The most important was the ship-building technology which was immediately added to the research list along with the military robotics, and military drone technology, which would allow Andrew to create a much better security force and build drone fighters.
After adding all of this to the research list, Andrew saw that he had only 13,000 tons of resources left as all these research topics were expensive.
Before that, his storage modules were almost full.
Not that it mattered as there were cubes full of materials arriving all the time and he even planned to increase the substation number to thirty once this whole system was under his control.
-Lan, were you able to estimate how much resources we have in this system?
Andrew asked.
It was a task that he had given her to do in her spare time.
-I tried, but there is no way to estimate it.
The two suns attract too many asteroids to get an estimate, but I can tell you right now that there are many more asteroids here, than there were when we first arrived.
The astrogeologist said.
-How is that possible? We are mining the asteroids left and right and the drone count already crossed over ten thousand.
Andrew asked, not believing what he just heard.
-That's true, but there are more and more asteroids being attracted by the two suns' gravity, so even if we doubled the mining efficiency, there is no way we would deplete this asteroid field.
Additionally, with all the time we were mining here, we managed to use only 0.0001% of the asteroid field, and I didn't even manage to scan this much for all the time I was working on it.
Not to mention that until now, we were working on the smaller asteroids under 50 kilometers in diameter.
This news shocked Andrew greatly.
-Do you mean that we are sitting in a system with an inexhaustible amount of resources and we have only been mining a space equivalent of pebbles all this time?
He asked, just to be sure he understood her correctly.
-If you want to simplify it in such a way then yes.
Lan confirmed, satisfied with his shocked expression.
Andrew on the other hand was once again reminded that he was still thinking too small, but it also meant that he would not run out of resources any time soon.
They were interrupted by Nairin's arrival in the command center.
-Do you need something?
Andrew asked seeing her enter.
-Yes, I would like to continue my studies and if you allow it, I'd like to study under Aelita.
She said with a bit of a pleading tone.
-I see no reason to object to the continuation of your studies.
As to being mentored by Aelita, you will need to ask her not me.
Andrew answered.
-But you are the one in charge here.
The girl said a bit confused.
-Yes I am, but Aelita is the one who needs to agree to take you as her student and I won't interfere with her decision in that regard.
He explained.
Nairin just nodded in acknowledgment and left to find Aelita.
Sometime later, Terelen arrived with the last station in tow.
Andrew didn't waste time and docked the small station into his own, to make the whole thing easier.
Iliana went inside with him and Aelita to get this over with.
She had put the three girls in the medical capsules as there was no need to put them in a regeneration tank.
Aelita opened the airlock without much of a problem and they entered the station.
They were all armed just in case her holiness or whatever got a bit jumpy, but for the most part they believed that there would not be a problem as like with the other two, she would most likely wake up only to fall asleep soon after.
However, there was nothing that could prepare them for the sight that awaited them after they opened the cryogenic module.
Her holiness turned out to look exactly like a human or to be more specific she could be mistaken for a Japanese or Chinese high school student.
The girl looked 16 or 17 years old with long black hair slender body that suggested she might weigh around 50 to 55 kilos while her height was about 165 to 170 cm.
It was tough to say for sure just at a glance.
-Ilia, as soon as she is in the medical module, I want a full scan of her.
Andrew said seriously.
This was not something he was expecting and if his suspicions were confirmed, the federation would have a lot to answer for.
The doctor nodded, as surprised as Andrew at the sight of another human who was supposed to be an alien.
-Chip 07 activate set the control level to 1.
Andrew said the moment Ilia implanted the girl with a chip.
Then he picked her up and carried her to the medical module.
The moment they got there he put the girl into a scanner and left the rest to the doctor as he had other things to do now.
-Congratulations on becoming a system lord.
Terelen said the moment Andrew entered the command center.
-Thank you, without your help, it would take much longer to reach this moment.
the human said.
-That might be true, but it was the inevitable outcome and I'm happy to assist you in achieving this stage.
However, this is only the beginning, and since you have now achieved the rank of a system lord and entered the first trillion in this universe.
It is my privilege and responsibility to inform you about what is to come.
Terelen said with a serious tone.
