Chapter 82 Another shopping spree.

-Aelita, how are the repairs coming along?

Andrew asked the moment he entered the command module.

-Most of the damage is already taken care of, only the seriously damaged or outright destroyed modules are still being repaired.

The engineer answered.

-Did our new ship sustain any damage?

He asked, remembering that hangar 4 was also hit by the enemy fire.

-No, by some miracle, all the hits in hangar 4 completely missed the ship, and the fighters, but all the ships in hangar 2 got wrecked.

She said, clearly pissed off after losing so many ships she wanted to research and if possible repair.

-Don't worry about it, in the future we will get you more ships to research than you will be able to handle.

As for the destroyed ones, if there is anything to salvage from them then do so and if not, then just turn them into resources.

Andrew tried to comfort her.

-What's the status of our research?

He asked a moment later.

Most of the list is done, but I didn't add them to be built, since we can just buy them.

Aelita answered.

-Good, let's get to it then.

He said and turned to Tanera.

-Let's start with the anti-ship weapons for the station.

For the next two hours, the elf lady was continuously shocked at the amount of credits Andrew and the ladies spent.

To say it was a shopping spree, was like to say it's a bit windy during a hurricane.

Only then did she realize that her brother's results were mostly attributed to Andrew as he bought hundreds of modules and all the upgrades he could get his hands on without worrying about the price.

Of course, he had the capital to pay for it all and if it wasn't enough he could always sell resources or a container of nanites.

This time the shopping total was 172 silver credits and some change, but Andrew's station would again double in size and there were many new modules that would be added.

Also when Andrew said that he had a long shopping list, he was not joking as the list was indeed long.

Tanera informed him that he could buy 4 anti-ship missile batteries and 8 small Magnetic accelerator cannons for the station along with the ammunition storage modules for all of them.

Without any delay he bought them all, paying 2 silver credits for each one of the weapons.

Then the real shopping spree began.

Andrew bought 111 drone recharge modules, bringing their total number to 200 across all the substations and the main station.

61 resources processing modules, bringing their total number to 100, 10 life support modules, to have 20 of them just in case something happened.

10 water purification modules to match the life support ones and for the same reason.

1000 mid-size storage modules, increasing their total capacity to 1 312 500 tons, which according to Aelita would be enough for now but soon they would need either 3 to 4 times as many or the bigger version, to keep up with the resources demand.

88 tier 2 shield generator modules, bringing their total number to 100 which allowed them to cover the whole station and with the supplement of the tier 1 shield generator modules, would be a tough nut to crack without something heavier than a railgun.

100 water storage modules, bringing their total to 160.

20 drone control modules, bringing the total to 30 as they needed more and more drones.

40 drone repair modules, bringing the total to 50.

This was also Aelita's idea as implementing any upgrade to the drones was getting very time-consuming.

30 drone manufacturing modules, for the same reason as the repair modules, and their numbers also reached 50.

Another 15 resource distribution modules, making a total of 30, are needed for a smooth distribution of materials.

Andrew also decided to raise the number of point defense cannons modules to 100, by buying 32 of them.

38 component manufacturing modules were also bought to increase their productivity in case of any more damage to the station or the need to build more modules.

16 new Railgun modules were also added, bringing their total to 20, just to be sure that they could take down any pirate stupid enough to attack them and start preparing for the invasion.

Aelita and Andrew also decided to buy 6 more hangar modules, to have more space for ships as they planned to start building their ships soon.

24 gas separation modules were also added to make a total of 40, needed for the increased fuel consumption and soon there would be even more as Andrew wanted to start separating deuterium to use as a fuel source and to trade.

Added to that were 68 gas storage modules to make sure they had all the fuel they would need.

Another 2 dock modules were also added to make it easier to dock more ships to the station and Andrew had a feeling that he would soon need even more of these.

Then there were an additional 65 hydrogen power generator modules to power it all.

That alone was an enormous purchase, but it didn't stop there as they had some new modules to buy as well.

The first of these were 10 Railgun rounds production modules, which could guarantee that they didn't run out of ammunition as long as they had resources.

Then there were 5 droid production modules, along with some more droid blueprints, among which were the hangar maintenance droids, whose role was self explanatory, and ship repair droids, which were something Andrew always wanted to buy to repair the pirate ships.

Iliana also reminded him to buy some disinfection modules, which he bought a dozen of, to be placed near the hangars and the dock modules.

But the most important modules he bought were 10 drone fighter production modules, a design module which would allow them to design new ships, weapons and many other things and 2 kinetic ammunition production modules, for which he also bought propellant and primers which he could not produce for now.

In addition to the modules they also bought a lot of items, mainly focusing on the upgrades, they would need to make everything work, and the new blueprints for droids, drones, and even drone fighters.

-Is this all you want to buy this time?

Tanera asked, quietly hoping that this was all since he already spent more credits than all other station and system masters she visited, combined.

-Yes, that's it for now, unless you want to trade for some more advanced stuff with the items in the crates.

Andrew answered.

-No, I'll leave that for my brother to deal with.

She said in a resigned tone.

This was an eye-opening experience for her.

Not that it was the first time she traded with this human, but it was the biggest deal she had ever made with one person.

Now she knew why her brother managed to get a promotion so fast.

-Since that concludes our trade, for now, we can now move to presenting the items that you were waiting for from the empire.

The merchant said and after a moment six droids came in with the items.

The first two were pushing antigravity carts with a set of armor on each one along with a chest containing weapons.

the next pair brought a bow and a quiver of arrows each and the last two brought a small beautifully decorated box each.

-Moonlight Lady and a Moon Phoenix guard, Aelita of clan Charr, please receive your armor and weapons symbolizing your station and duties.

Tanera said officially.

-Also, please receive this pendant, symbolizing the title of the Moonlight lady.

She added opening the decorative box taking a crystal pendant on a delicate silver chain and presenting it to Aelita, before turning to Andrew.

-Dark Moon Lord and Moon Dragon guard, Lord Andrew Eagle, please receive your armor and weapons symbolizing your station and duties.

Also, please receive this pendant, symbolizing the title of the Dark Moon Lord.

She repeated.

They both received their items and took a closer look at their new armor and weapons.

-These are power armors.

Andrew said, gasping in surprise.

-Yes they are and they are also the official armor of the imperial guards, the moment you wear them for the first time they will be codded to you and only you will be able to activate them.

There are also jetpacks for them, but unfortunately, the guild forbade us to bring them here in fear of you reverse engineering the technology, also the armor's systems are mostly disabled.

They will become available to you when you research the technology needed for their production.

The elf explained.

-The bows are also part of the imperial guard's equipment and are meant to be used with this armor, so until you can unlock the systems they will be mostly decorative as you would need

armor's support to draw them.

-In other words, this equipment is useless for now.

Andrew said, still admiring his new armor, that looked like a dragon.

Aelita's armor was in the shape of a phoenix and both sets were not only beautiful but also quite intimidating.

-Unfortunately, that is correct as the guild does not wish to give anyone an unfair advantage.

Tanera confirmed.

Andrew and Aelita took the news calmly as there was nothing they could do about it for now so after they wore their new armors to code them to themselves, they were sent to their respective armories, to await the day, they could be used by their owners.

-If that's all for now, I would like to get some rest.

The merchant said.

She was not going anywhere for now, but receiving one shock after the other tired her out.

-Go right ahead, but if you can, please undock your ship, the station will be redesigned once again once our new module's arrive.

Andrew explained not wanting to be perceived as rude.

-No problem, now if you'll excuse me.

Tanera said and left the command center.
