Chapter 82 - The King's Letter

Feng really didn't come back that night.

But thankfully, Haruki was there when a messenger reported to Old Jin that Feng was going to stay at the King's castle for the night, so he didn't have to expect the worst later.

Haruki was quickly distracted when the same messenger came to him after training, handing him a heavy locked box and a letter. He left only one sentence.

"The King expresses his deep regrets for getting you and your nephew involved."

After a ninety-degree bow, the messenger sharply turned and jogged off. He clearly still had other deliveries to make, judging by the shoulder bags hanging from him. Haruki, deciding not to trouble the guy, shut his curious mouth.

"Lanling~ Look, the king sent me something~"
