The Lagoon Night Market was famous for two things:
First, its sellers could offer anything as long as they could prove they could keep the streets safe. This included restraining wild beasts from breaking free and threatening public safety or taking responsibility for any moral disputes that might inevitably arise.
Because of this policy, some establishments around the market enforced strict rules for their clientele. No matter how loudly one righteous paladin had screamed for justice outside a particular building, the guards wouldn't let him in. The city guards patrolling the streets had merely dragged him away, unmoved by his protests.
The second was the breathtaking lagoon at the far end of the market. Beyond the bustling streets, a grand portal marked the entrance to a renowned spatial mage's personal dimension. Known for its stunning buildings, picturesque sceneries, and romantic allure, it had become a beloved attraction.
