Chapter 87 - Yesn't

Lanling kept his eyes shut, unaware of the rising wind that seemed to expose his neck. He simply thought it was a natural shift, given their proximity to the sea.

But Haruki's heart lurched. He hadn't willed the wind to stir. Before he could reign it in again, his gaze landed on Lanling's exposed neck, and his eyes darkened.

By the time Haruki realized what he had done, his arms were already around Lanling's waist, his head nestled against Lanling's shoulder, drawn to the soothing scent of his soap.

Lanling's heart skipped at the sudden warmth. Before he could snap at the man, his resolve faltered. It took him ten long seconds to steady his breath and harden his heart. "…Let go."

Haruki only shook his head, burying himself deeper into Lanling's neck. His lips brushed against the soft skin, and his breath ignited a heat he hadn't anticipated. "Lanling~" he murmured.
