While Lanling busied himself with the forbidden spell, Haruki and Mainu stood at his sides, their guards raised against the weight of the situation.

Among the enemies, the goliath placed the young elf in the corner before lunging toward Lanling, intent on interrupting his chanting. But a sudden rush of wind struck him mid-air, slamming him back into the wall once again.

Haruki stepped protectively between the goliath and Lanling, hands raised as he commanded the wind. He first attempted to break Alba's ritual, but the floating items remained stubbornly in place, refusing to budge.

Destroying the engraved spell was out of the question as well, leaving him with no choice but to abandon the thought.

Then, his gaze locked onto another figure—one who wasn't writhing in agony like the others. The moment they vanished from sight, Haruki sent another gust in their direction—harsher than the one before as he aimed to knock them out.
