"Then, please!"
Two hours later.
The details of the shipbuilding agreement were finalized, along with the redesign requirements and important considerations.
Wilhelm left with his three sisters, Smoothie, Strong, and Simon.
Tom the Murlock, along with his disciples Bingshan, Franky, and others, watched their retreating figures, their expressions filled with complexity.
"Mr. Tom, what's next?" Bingshan asked, his worry apparent.
Tom, the creator of Oro Jackson—the legendary ship of Roger's Pirates—was still considered a criminal. He knew that completing the sea train was his chance to clear his name. But now, building pirate ships for these pirates again could attract unwanted attention from the World Government if something went wrong. It would cause trouble.
Tom patted his chest and spoke with heroic determination, "Since they want it, we'll build them the best ship we can. A man must keep his promises, right? And this ship... will be one to remember!"
He had a hunch that the boy from the Charlotte family would stir up a massive storm in the future, but he didn't care.
As long as the sea train project succeeded, revitalizing the lifeless capital of Water 7 and bringing prosperity, Tom would die without regret—even if the World Government sentenced him to death.
Back on the Juice, docked on an uninhabited coast, Wilhelm turned his gaze toward Hulk Island, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Where is it?"
Earlier, when they were at Tom's studio, Wilhelm had used his powerful Observation Haki to subtly scan the place, locating every hidden detail. He had found a secret compartment, difficult to detect by ordinary people, inside which a thick book was concealed.
It was almost certainly the blueprint for Pluton.
However, there was no rush to take it. The Ark Proverbs needed to be completed first.
"Sister Simon," Wilhelm said, as Simon handed him a glass of fresh juice she had squeezed using her fruit abilities, "The construction of the Ark will take time... you two can wait here in the capital of Seven Waters."
He looked at Smoothie. "As for you, sister, I need you to come with me for a bit. I might need your Heart Network."
Smoothie raised an eyebrow. "Wilhelm, where are we going?"
Wilhelm didn't hesitate. "Impel Down."
"What!?"
"Impel Down? The world's largest deep-sea prison, the Iron Wall?"
The Smoothie sisters were shocked and confused.
Wilhelm smiled confidently. "Don't worry. With my abilities, getting in quietly won't be a problem. And once we're inside, leaving will be just as easy. No one can stop us."
You don't mean to..."
Smoothie's eyes widened as she realized what Wilhelm was suggesting, staring at him in disbelief.
"Well, there are plenty of dangerous criminals locked up by the Marines and the World Government..." Wilhelm sneered, "Where else would you find people with more skill? Or more exaggerated abilities?"
"Gollum! What a crazy idea!" Strong exclaimed, her voice filled with shock.
"However, if it succeeds, the rewards could be unimaginable!"
Thinking about Wilhelm's bold plan, both Strong and Simon couldn't help but swallow nervously, their eyes shining with a mix of awe and excitement.
"Even if it's the world's largest, most inescapable deep-sea prison..." Smoothie took a deep breath, her voice growing serious as she looked directly at Wilhelm. "With your abilities, you could come and go freely. Even if you're exposed, the danger shouldn't be too high."
She had to admit she was intrigued. The idea of Impel Down—the world's largest deep-sea prison, where the most dangerous pirates and criminals were held—was enticing. It was likely full of Devil Fruit users, and with Wilhelm's abilities, infiltrating would be a breeze. Moreover, with her Heart Network, she could help monitor and reduce the risk of detection.
"No, it's not exactly true that no one can escape." Wilhelm shrugged casually, offering a smile. "Golden Lion Shiki escaped a few years ago, cutting off his legs to free himself from his seastone shackles. He paid a heavy price for it…"
He sighed, as though disappointed. "It's a shame. If I could have gotten my hands on his Paramecia Lion Fruit, that would have been quite the prize."
"But still..." Smoothie frowned. "Impel Down is somewhere out in the deep sea, and its exact location is unknown."
"Don't worry about that." Wilhelm smiled confidently. "The World Government's three major agencies—Marines Headquarters, Impel Down, and Enies Lobby—are all strategically placed. They're connected by the Gate of Justice, which uses a giant vortex current to quickly travel between them."
He paused, thinking for a moment. "As for Enies Lobby, we don't need to go through the Gate of Justice. We can simply follow the ocean current to reach it, and from there, it's not far to Impel Down."
Smoothie thought for a moment, considering the logistics. She'd already been monitoring the situation through her Heart Network. That night, some World Government officials from Water 7 would be traveling to Enies Lobby on a ship. They could follow the ship's course, and it shouldn't be too difficult to pinpoint Enies Lobby's location.
While Tom the Murlock had been promised his help with smelting metal for the ship's construction—using her Thunder Fruit abilities to speed up the process—the preparations would take time. Acquiring materials like Treasure Tree Adam and the appropriate steel from the black market would take ten days, or maybe even longer.
