"Have you found anything?"
A large, snow-white eagle soared high in the sky.
Standing on Finger's back, Wilhelm looked down at Impel Down in the night, with only a few lights barely visible.
He glanced at Smoothie, who was listening intently, eyes closed, focusing on monitoring the deep-sea prison and gathering as much information as possible.
"The main structure of Impel Down is built deep in the sea. It has six floors, with the levels increasing in severity from the first to the sixth. The bounties of the prisoners also increase as you go down..."
Smoothie began to explain in detail the information she had gathered: "On the fifth floor, in the Freezing Hell, are prisoners with bounties over 100 million.
On the sixth floor, in Eternal Hell, are even more dangerous villains—those whose crimes were too horrific and whose existence is kept secret by the World Government."
"Additionally, some criminals, though not necessarily powerful, are considered too dangerous by the World Government and are held in higher-level cells as exceptions."
"The detailed files on these criminals are stored in the archives on the first floor... but beware, there are phone bug monitors and staff on duty there, so you'll need to be careful!"
Using the information from her surveillance, Smoothie guided Wilhelm toward the general location of the archives.
"By the way, there's one more thing..."
Thinking of something, Smoothie's expression grew serious. She added, "Ever since Golden Lion Shiki cut off his own legs and escaped from Impel Down three years ago, the former director and warden were both killed in the aftermath.
"Now, the current director is Magellan, who has the power of the Paramecia Poison-Poison Fruit, and the head of Impel Down is Shiryu of the Rain, a swordsman with 333 swordsmanship. You shouldn't underestimate them!"
"The two of them are equally strong and together guard this deep-sea prison—Impel Down, known as the 'Iron Wall.'"
Smoothie looked at Wilhelm with a serious expression, warning him, "Especially Magellan. His poison gas and venom are deadly. Be very careful, don't let yourself get contaminated!"
"Don't worry, I've developed the ability of the Transfer-Transfer Fruit," Wilhelm nodded. "I can transfer toxins out of my body. Even if I come into contact with Magellan's poison, he won't be able to affect me..."
Wilhelm looked at her and asked, "Is there anything else?"
He was already familiar with how powerful Magellan's poison was.
With his natural, monstrous physique, he was immune to most toxins.
And if he did encounter a poison he couldn't completely resist, he could simply use his fruit ability to transfer the toxins out of his body.
In short, his ability completely countered Magellan, the director of Impel Down.
"I can rest easy knowing that…"
Smoothie sighed with relief and smiled.
After all, Magellan's abilities were unique and dangerous. If Wilhelm had been vulnerable to poison, it could have caused major problems.
"By the way, due to the side effects of his poison powers, Magellan is currently suffering from diarrhea and is taking a rest..."
Smoothie smiled again, relieved. "As the chief warden, Shiryu of the Rain is handling things on the fifth floor, in Freezing Hell."
"He secretly finds criminals, fights them without informing Magellan, and kills them in prison. After defeating them, he ruthlessly kills his opponents!"
"In just half an hour, he's already killed two criminals with bounties over 100 million!"
Even though Shiryu of the Rain was strong, Smoothie wasn't worried. After all, no matter how powerful the opponent was, they could never catch Wilhelm, who had the Transfer-Transfer Fruit.
"Shiryu of the Rain?" Wilhelm sneered. "Fighting criminals? He's a warlike, cruel guy. Perfect for me!"
Since they were already in Impel Down, Wilhelm wasn't going to waste the chance to test his skills against powerful criminals.
"By the way, Wilhelm, there's a hidden 5.5th floor in Impel Down that even the prison staff don't know about."
Smoothie added, "It's located on the fifth floor of Freezing Hell, where the pile of dead bodies is. It's spacious and considered a 'prisoner's paradise.' You could use that as your base of operations."
"Some prisoners managed to escape there by chance. They often sneak into the Blazing Hell on the fourth floor to steal supplies from the warehouse and kitchen. They live comfortably, but with your strength, it should be easy to take care of them!"
"I understand!"
Of course, Wilhelm knew about the hidden 5.5th underground floor of Impel Down.
Nearly a hundred years ago, a Titan warrior imprisoned here, who had the power of the Paramecia Tu Tu no Mi Fruit, tricked the prison staff. Since he wasn't given Seastone handcuffs, he used his Devil Fruit ability to dig his way out when he escaped.
And, not surprisingly, that Titan warrior would later become one of the commanders of the Revolutionary Army.
"Well then, I'll head out first..." Wilhelm said, looking at Smoothie. "Sister Smoothie, you'll need to work hard too. Take Finley back to Enies Lobby and look into information about Guanhao Island..."
"Also, unless something urgent comes up, I plan to stay in Impel Down for a while, and wait until the Ark Proverbs is completed before returning."
"Then be careful," Smoothie warned. "The prisoners on the fifth floor are dangerous, but there are even worse ones on the sixth floor. Don't let them escape!"
Seeing the fighting spirit in Wilhelm's eyes, Smoothie sighed and nodded. She could only hope he wouldn't cause too much trouble.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing!" Wilhelm responded, and before he could finish, he had already disappeared from in front of her.
In the blink of an eye, he reached the gate.
Using his Transfer-Transfer Fruit, he silently passed through the locked iron gate without a sound.
Even the prison guards and the surveillance phone bugs hidden everywhere didn't notice.
Next, Wilhelm activated his Observation Haki.
Instead of heading directly to the archives to search for information on the capable prisoners, he teleported straight through the thick walls and descended to the Crimson Hell, located in the deepest part of the prison.
The dimly lit prison echoed with the screams of prisoners, sending chills down anyone's spine.
Like lightning, Wilhelm passed by the bored guards in Wild Beast Hell on the second basement level, Starvation Hell on the third basement level, and Blazing Hell on the fourth basement level, without attracting a single glance.
In an instant, he reached the Freezing Hell on the fifth underground floor.
"Swish--"
The environment was the complete opposite of the outside world.
In a world of ice and snow, the temperature was so low that anyone would shiver uncontrollably.
Luckily, Wilhelm's powerful body could ignore the extreme cold.
All the prison cells were frozen solid, even the surveillance phone bugs were frozen into ice. They couldn't function in this freezing environment.
Freezing Hell truly lived up to its name.
This floor was the only place in Impel Down that wasn't under surveillance.
Due to the lack of monitoring and the extreme cold, even the prison staff avoided this floor to spare themselves from the harsh conditions.
Whatever happened here would go unnoticed.
For example…
Now, deep inside Freezing Hell.
"Ah—!" A prisoner screamed in pain.
His heart was pierced by a sharp blade, and he collapsed in a pool of blood.
The blood quickly froze into ice before anyone could blink.
The open space was marked by signs of battle, where ice and snow hadn't fully covered the area yet.
A young man, about 25 years old and standing 3 meters tall, wearing a black prison guard uniform, swung his sword, shaking the frozen blood off the blade.
He looked down at the body beneath him and sneered. "Is this the pirate with a bounty of hundreds of millions? Pathetic and weak!"
"It's a shame Magellan is too focused on the sixth floor..."
Shiryu of the Rain muttered, his face grim. "If he wasn't so obsessed with it, I'm sure those guys who surpassed the two master Baileys would have been much better opponents!"
"I agree," a calm voice answered from the front.
Shiryu of the Rain's expression changed in an instant. He looked ahead, startled.
