An intimidating turquoise monster crashed into the reinforced training ground, its surface strengthened by Hawkins Alloy.
"Roar—!" It flapped its massive wings, creating a violent gust of wind.
The enormous turquoise serpent rose into the air again. Its cold, fierce eyes, full of violence, locked onto Wilhelm mid-flight.
"Hey... Baji..." Its bloody jaws, lined with sharp fangs, opened wide.
Suddenly, an intense electric light surged from its mouth, radiating a terrifying aura of danger.
"Back off..." Wilhelm's eyes glowed faintly blue as he waved his hand firmly.
Smoothie, Shiryu of the Rain, and the others, who were ready to act, found themselves abruptly teleported outside the training ground before they could react.
"Hiss... Crackle... Zzzzt..."
At that moment, the entire area lit up with an unnatural pale glow.
A blinding thunderball quickly formed in the creature's ferocious mouth and shot forward, heading straight for Wilhelm.
"Boom!" The massive thunderball detonated in an instant.
But to the shock of Smoothie, Shiryu, and even Dr. Hawkins, the figure struck by the explosion wasn't Wilhelm.
It was the turquoise monster itself.
In the blink of an eye, Wilhelm had swapped positions with the creature.
"Looks like your Haki hasn't fully awakened yet," Wilhelm said calmly, staring at the writhing Byrnndi World, who was reeling from the electric shock. "Otherwise, transferring someone like you wouldn't have been this easy."
This result didn't surprise Wilhelm.
He had already confirmed this when creating the "Blue Ogre" using the Zoan-type Human-Human Fruit.
A newly created lifeform not only needs time to adapt to its unfamiliar body but also has to process the host's memories and experiences stored within its mind.
Through continuous training, it gradually learns to uncover its potential, including developing Haki hidden in the host's body.
If it had been the original Byrnndi World, with his extraordinary mastery of Haki, transferring him would have been far more difficult—even with Wilhelm's current strength, which had grown significantly over the past two or three months.
But this wasn't Byrnndi World himself.
Instead, it was a newly-formed monster—a snake-bodied, winged beast created from Byrnndi World's corpse, infused with the power of the Snake-Snake Fruit, Mythical Zoan Model: Feathered Serpent God.
At its core, it was nothing more than a newborn—a creature with a raw, blood-soaked body and inherited memories and combat instincts.
I haven't had enough time to fully process and integrate the memories in my mind. Without proper training or systematic practice, I probably can't even use Haki yet.
There's no way I could block his ability from the Transfer-Transfer Fruit.
"Swish—"
In an instant, Wilhelm's silver-white figure appeared directly in front of "Byrnndi World."
His cold, golden pupils glinted as they locked onto the creature.
"Om—" An invisible wave of pressure swept out, shaking the air.
"Wooooahhhhhhh!"
Wilhelm's overwhelming Conqueror's Haki made the enormous ark tremble faintly, sending chills down the spines of Shiryu of the Rain, the Gorgon sisters, and the others.
Even the massive turquoise serpent—easily over ten meters long, with wings and metallic scales—began to tremble uncontrollably, sweat dripping as it froze in fear.
"Have you come to your senses?" Wilhelm asked coldly.
His silver-white hair flowed unnaturally, untouched by the wind. His commanding presence made everyone around him feel small and insignificant.
Fixing his piercing gaze on the serpent, Wilhelm's voice remained calm but dangerous. "I created you... and I can just as easily destroy you."
The creature, "Byrnndi World," had begun to integrate its inherited memories. Slowly, it emerged from its haze of confusion and fear.
"Swish—"
Its wings and massive serpent body began to shrink and transform, turquoise scales shimmering as they condensed into a humanoid form.
Standing in its place was a tall figure, its body still carrying an aura of ferocity. But its eyes betrayed a deep fear of Wilhelm.
It knelt, trembling, and spoke hesitantly. "M-Master... Master!"
"Incredible," Hawkins murmured, watching from the side.
The Gorgon sisters, Shiryu of the Rain, and Smoothie were equally astonished.
"It's speaking... like a human..."
Wilhelm studied the kneeling figure, noting how it had shifted from dazed and hostile to obedient and respectful.
"Good," Wilhelm said indifferently. "It seems you've almost integrated the memories of this body. You now understand your role and identity."
He paused, his gaze sharp. "From today onward, your name is Kur, codenamed 'Feathered Serpent.'"
Calling it "Byrnndi World" would be pointless—no one would believe it.
After Dr. Hawkins' modifications, the former "World Destroyer" was unrecognizable. The tall, humanoid figure before them exuded a completely different aura. Even Byrnndi World's former subordinates wouldn't recognize this new form.
"Yes, Master!" Kur, the Feathered Serpent, nodded repeatedly, still trembling.
Kur understood clearly—he wasn't the real "World Destroyer."
At best, he had inherited Byrnndi World's powerful body and combat experience.
"From now on," Wilhelm continued, "you'll train with us. Focus on mastering this body and fully absorbing the memories of Byrnndi World. Only then can you unlock your full potential."
Wilhelm had high hopes for Kur.
Unlike the "Blue Ogre," Byrnndi World had been a true monster in his prime.
Even without his former Paramecia Momo-Momo Fruit, Kur had inherited the powers of the Mythical Zoan Snake-Snake Fruit, Model: Feathered Serpent—a rare ability that allowed control over thunder and storms, surpassing even most Logia powers.
Combined with the legendary physical strength and Haki of Byrnndi World, Kur could one day match the original's fearsome reputation.
It would just take time for him to fully develop that level of power.
"I'm counting on you to become useful soon," Wilhelm said, his voice heavy with expectation.
