Chapter 57 Family’s Fate

The Dauntless exited hyperspace along with the rest of the strike force that had been sent out to eliminate the energy lifeforms before they became a major threat.

Their numbers were fewer than what they had initially set out with, but their mission had been successful.

"You're all now free to go about your business as you please. The Alliance Police will make sure to have all of your rewards sent to the Mercenary Association within the next three days. And for those that went above and beyond to prove their valor, expect to receive special accolades." Captain Ais said to every mercenary that had been temporarily under his command.

Now that their contract was over, all of the mercenaries headed off to their own desired station in the system.

Most went to Yuson Prime or Yuson II, but a few headed off to smaller and less populated outposts scattered throughout the system.
