CHAPTER 70

At six in the evening.

Avery appeared at the entrance of the villa in her small car.

Before the door opened, Josie, who was sitting on the balcony reading comics, heard the sound of a car. When she looked up, she jumped up happily and waved downstairs, screaming in childish voice, "Avery, you're back."

Then, she turned around and rushed into the room, running downstairs to pick up Avery.

Avery had just gotten out of the car when Josie pounced into her arms. Josie hugged her waist with both hands and rubbed her little head against her arms.

Avery was touched. She hugged Josie and stroked her furphy head, thinking, 'So cute. I want to have a puppy, oh no, a daughter like this.

Josie looked up expectantly. "Avery, did you miss me? I missed you so much."

"I miss you so much." Avery pinched her little face and carried her up. "What have you guys been doing these past few days?"
