Chapter 107

The horse skidded to a halt outside Ishara's little house with such force that dust rose in a thick cloud around its hooves. The horse, which looked much bigger than a normal horse, neighed in protest reading slightly before stopping just as Zorian leapt off its back with ease without bothering to tie the reins.

Isla who wasn't able to keep up with the momentum from the sudden stop fell off of its back landing on the ground with a surprised yelp. Her body pressed on the ground softly as though she had only fallen on a soft mattress. She didn't feel any pain and there was no bruise on her body. She couldn't feel pain here because she wasn't really here but she was starting to get frustrated already.

"Not again" she muttered under her breath, brushing the invisible dirt from her arms. "I think the only thing I'm doing here is trying to get hurt and I'm sick of it already."

It felt like she was talking to Zorian but he didn't even notice her presence.
