Do you Regret it?

Marian's POV

Pain.

That was the first thing I registered when I pried my eyes open. A dull, throbbing ache pounded against my skull, and my mouth felt like I had swallowed an entire desert. My body was sore, every muscle heavy with exhaustion, and for a moment, I just lay there, trying to remember why I felt like I had been run over by a truck.

Then, without warning, I shifted—and rolled straight off the bed.

The floor met me with a violent thud, my forehead smacking against the hard surface. A sharp, shocked yelp escaped me as I clutched my head, groaning in pain.

"What the hell—" I muttered, wincing as I pushed myself up on shaky arms.

And then it hit me.

Like a tidal wave.

Aiden.

Last night.

My eyes widened in horror as the memories came crashing down all at once. The kisses, the heat, the way he had lifted me effortlessly, the way his hands had felt tracing over my skin—

"Oh. My. God."
