Chapter 50: The Dragon's Treasure Trove

Armed with her great sword, Rozaliya hacked off the longest, most vicious fang from the red dragon's jaws, claiming it as proof of her slaying. After all, words alone held no weight; possessing a giant dragon's tooth was the strongest testament to being a dragon slayer.

"Liliya, what are you thinking about?" After putting away her fangs, Rozaliya noticed Liliya staring blankly at the dragon's carcass.

"I'm wondering which part of it would taste the best," Liliya mused, her hands gesturing as she spoke.

"..." You're actually planning to eat dragon meat?

Rozaliya looked at Liliya, whose face was utterly expressionless as she stared at the dragon, feeling utterly helpless.

"Liliya, there's some drool at the corner of your mouth," Rozaliya suddenly whispered softly into Liliya's ear.

"Huh?" Caught off guard, Liliya quickly touched her mouth.

"It's not there! Rozaliya, you're teasing me!" Realizing she had been tricked, Liliya glared at Rozaliya like an angry little kitten.

"Ha ha ha..."

Rozaliya couldn't help but burst out laughing.

"Ignore you? You silly Rozaliya."

With that, Liliya unsheathed her Great Sword, made a swift cut, and removed a piece of meat from the dragon's abdomen. After peeling off the scales, she stored it in her inventory.

"Say, System-chan... This huge dragon, it's really not worth much? Can it be exchanged for crystals?" Rozaliya stood atop the dragon's head, patting its carcass as she curiously asked the System.

[We have discovered a recharge item. Do you wish to recharge?]

"Huh? It's really possible? Would you not have alerted me if I hadn't asked?" Rosaria was momentarily stunned, instantly rendered speechless...
