Chapter 13 Night Club

After Xiao Feng's father, Xiao Yunyang, and his uncle, Yao Dajun, arrived, the dinner officially began.

Since there was an evening event scheduled that required their attention, Xiao Feng and his younger brother refrained from drinking any alcohol. They ate swiftly, greeted the elders respectfully once they were done, and then eagerly stepped outside.

As soon as Yao Li caught sight of Xiao Feng's striking McLaren Elva, his face lit up with astonishment, and his envy was palpable. He couldn't help but express his admiration.

"Brother Feng, so it was you who bought this phenomenal car at the auto show! I've been obsessed with this model ever since I first laid eyes on it, but my mother outright refused to let me purchase it."

Yao Li Hao's tone was both envious and pleading as he gingerly ran his hand over the gleaming body of the car, clearly mesmerized by its beauty.

Xiao Feng, amused by Yao Li's reaction, chuckled softly and, without hesitation, handed over the car keys to him.

"Alright, alright, stop looking so pitiful. Here, take it. You can drive it for the night. Let's swap cars."

Yao Li's eyes widened in disbelief as he took the keys, his excitement practically overflowing.

"Brother Feng, you're the best! Thank you so much! I promise I'll take good care of it. Oh, by the way, Yang Yue isn't in the capital right now—she's back in Hong Kong with her sister. But don't worry, I'll make sure to set you up with Liu Xue tonight!"

Xiao Feng raised an eyebrow, momentarily stunned by Yao Li's declaration. Could this kid really have a way to arrange a meeting with someone as elusive as Liu Xue? However, before he could press further, Yao Li was already sliding into the driver's seat of the McLaren Elva with giddy enthusiasm, leaving Xiao Feng holding Yao Li's keys.

With a small shrug, Xiao Feng walked over to Yao Li's white Ferrari LaFerrari and climbed inside.

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Zhu Lin lay on her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling above her. She had been debating whether or not to call Xiao Feng all evening, but in the end, her shyness won out. She remained silent, lost in her thoughts.

Just then, her close friend and roommate, Bai Xu, entered the room without knocking. She walked straight over to the bed, her expression a mix of urgency and determination.

"Zhu Lin, my manager just called. There's a wine party tonight, and I have to attend. You should come with me—it's a good opportunity," Bai Xu said, her voice persuasive.

Zhu Lin turned her head slowly, clearly unenthused by the suggestion.

"Why would I go? I'm not interested. I'm not in the mood for these social events," she replied, her tone flat as she looked away.

Bai Xu let out an exasperated sigh and sat down beside her.

"Zhu Lin, you're being stubborn. You need to think about your career. The young man hosting this event isn't just rich—his family holds immense power in the film and television industry. His father owns one of the biggest studios, and his mother is the CEO of a major corporation. If you want to make it big in this industry, you have to make connections."

Zhu Lin frowned but remained silent.

Bai Xu continued, her voice softening.

"Look, I know you like Xiao Feng, and yes, he's wealthy. But connections like this are what really matter. You don't want to end up like me—working for years and still going unnoticed. Come on, Zhu Lin, for your own sake."

After several minutes of persuasion, Zhu Lin reluctantly agreed, her soft heart unable to refuse Bai Xu's persistence.

Later that evening, Xiao Feng followed behind Yao Li, who was driving the Pagani Huayra, as they made their way to a luxurious private club on the outskirts of the capital. Xiao Feng, now driving the LaFerrari, marveled at the location as they approached.

The club, sprawling across nearly 20 acres, was designed in the elegant style of a Jiangnan garden. It featured serene courtyards, intricately carved wooden structures, and ponds adorned with lotus flowers. Inside, the amenities were nothing short of extravagant. The club offered a wide range of entertainment facilities, including a café, tea room, KTV lounges, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bars, chess and card rooms, a fully equipped gym, sauna and massage rooms, and even a bowling alley.

Yao Li, noticing Xiao Feng's gaze lingering on the intricate architecture, grinned and patted him on the shoulder.

"So, Brother Feng, what do you think of this place? Not bad, right?"

Xiao Feng glanced around, his expression calm and composed, though his palms felt slightly clammy. Despite having memories of a less privileged past, he reminded himself that in this life, he was no longer the same person. He was someone destined to surpass everyone, so there was no need to feel out of place.

"It's decent," Xiao Feng replied nonchalantly, his tone perfectly measured.

Yao Li raised an eyebrow, his mind racing. Didn't my mom say Brother Feng grew up in an orphanage? Then why does he look like someone who frequents places like this?

Their conversation was interrupted when a tall, attractive woman in her early thirties approached them with a warm smile. Her figure was graceful, her every movement exuding charm and sophistication.

"Mr. Yao, welcome back!" the woman greeted Yao Li, her voice smooth and professional.

"Sister Zhu, you're looking even more stunning than the last time I saw you," Yao Li teased with a playful grin, lightly patting her on the arm. "You're like a fine wine—just getting better with time."

The woman, Zhu Qian, giggled and turned her attention to Xiao Feng. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity and interest as she took in his striking features. His sharp, defined jawline, coupled with his perfectly tailored suit, gave him an air of effortless elegance.

"And who might this young gentleman be? I've never seen someone so handsome before. Just looking at you is enough to make my heart race," Zhu Qian said, her tone both flattering and coy.

"Xiao Feng," he replied simply, offering her a polite smile.

Zhu Qian's gaze lingered for a moment before she spoke again, this time leaning in slightly.

"Mr. Xiao, are you here alone tonight? If you don't have a companion, this little girl would be happy to accompany you. I'm not only a good dancer but also excellent at singing and entertaining."

Xiao Feng, however, remained unimpressed. While Zhu Qian's charm might work on others, he found himself indifferent to her advances.

Zhu Qian held Xiao Feng's arm, rubbing against a pair of at least D-shaped peaks.

Big and soft.

Xiao Feng exerted a little force, pulled out his arm, and smiled.

"Thank you, Sister Zhu, for your kindness, but I have a date with a beautiful lady tonight."

Zhu Qian pretended to have a sad expression and said delicately,

"Young Master Xiao, next time you must give this little girl a chance when you come."

"Haha, Sister Zhu, don't tease me or Brother Feng," Yao Li laughed and explained to Xiao Feng.

"Sister Zhu just likes to tease people. Even if someone agrees to be with her, she'll disappear in an instant."

Zhu Qian glared at Yao Li.

"Young Master Yao, that's for someone else, but for Young Master Xiao, this little girl fell in love at first sight and wants to lie down right now in his arms."

"Okay, okay." Yao Li waved his hand and said to Zhu Qian, "Sister Zhu, go and greet others. I'm familiar with this place. We can go by ourselves."

"Young Master Xiao, this little girl will be waiting. I'll come to have a few drinks with you later."

After Zhu Qian finished speaking, she looked at Xiao Feng with watery and charming eyes.

Xiao Feng just nodded and said nothing.

The two of them continued walking toward the private room. Yao Li smiled and said,

"Brother Feng, this Sister Zhu is my buddy's cousin, and I'll be leaving this club to her management."

Xiao Feng nodded and followed Yao Li into a large private room with an area of about 200 square meters.

Xiao Feng took a look at the facilities in the private room and was immediately attracted by the heated swimming pool that took up half of the area.

"This swimming pool is the biggest feature of this private room."

Yao Li followed Xiao Feng's gaze and looked at the swimming pool, with a hint of a curve at the corner of his mouth.

"Think about it—if everyone's having fun, they can take a dip in this swimming pool with a beautiful girl. That feeling, tsk tsk, can only be understood..."
