Chapter 51: Dodge

The tension was suffocating.

Fen's expression remained calm, but there was a flicker of something dangerous in his silver eyes.

I could feel the weight of his power pressing down on me as if the very air around us had thickened.

My breathing was shallow, my body aching from the earlier dodge.

Then it happened.

The spear that had been embedded in the ground beside me trembled as it began to levitate, its tip gleaming with deadly intent.

My heart skipped a beat as it shot toward me at a speed I barely had time to register

My eyes widened, and I barely twisted out of the way, just managing to evade it, feeling the cold rush of air graze my cheek.

I staggered back, my breath ragged, but the spear didn't stop.

It reversed mid-air, almost instantly accelerating even faster as it aimed for me again.

I cursed under my breath, dodging again, my movements desperate and uneven.
