The gap between Law and Atomu was evident in all aspects. In the previous battle, Law indeed had a chance to win, but the undeniable truth was that he lost.
If Law and Atomu were to fight again, Atomu would be able to kill Law within thirty seconds, and this is no exaggeration.
Relying on unique Nen Abilities to outsmart an opponent might work once, but in a rematch, the disparity in their fundamental abilities would become even more glaring.
Atomu's strength is equivalent to the top first-tier Hunter. So Biscuit's demand for Law to defeat him within a hundred moves in a year was a harsh requirement.
"I admit you're strong, but this kid beating me? Keep dreaming." Atomu took a deep breath, his face flushed, and said in a disdainful tone.
Biscuit turned to Atomu, rubbed her chin and asked, "When you reached the 200th floor, how long did it take you to become the Floor Master of the 230th floor?"
Atomu, still slightly panting, replied, "Six years and seven months."
"Then what floor do you think his strength ranks at?" Biscuit pointed at the puzzled Law.
"200th floor." Atomu replied without hesitation.
Bisiji nodded and said calmly: "A thirty-floor difference took you six years and seven months, but he only needs one year to rise from the 200th to the 230th floor."
"Impossible, cough..." Atomu quickly retorted, but the effort triggered his injuries, causing him to cough violently, spitting out several mouthfuls of blood.
"Whether it's possible or not, he'll come to you to verify it in a year." Biscuit said.
Atomu first glanced at Law with disdain, then endured the pain and sneered coldly: "Him? I'll kill him the next time we meet!"
From Biscuit's words, Atomu understood that his life wasn't in immediate danger, because Biscuit intended to make him a benchmark for Law's growth one year later.
In Atomu's opinion, this was a joke. It was only a year. Not to mention the Nen mastery, with Law's physical fitness, one year was simply not enough to bridge the gap.
Listening to the conversation between the two, Law immediately understood that Biscuit was planning to take him in as her student and train him to defeat Atomu in a year.
Law had no idea why Biscuit suddenly took an interest in him, but it was a great opportunity for him. After his battle with Andon, he had a clearer understanding of his weaknesses, and Biscuit, being a renowned master, could guide him down the right path.
Thinking about how Biscuit willingly offered him this opportunity, Law felt secretly delighted. If he didn't seize it now, when would he?
But just as he was about to celebrate, Biscuit's next words made his face darken.
"Then just kill him."
Biscuit said calmly: "If you're not strong enough and end up dead, you can't blame anyone else."
Though she said that, it's not certain what she will do when the time comes.
Atomu snorted coldly, changed his posture with difficulty, sat up from the ground, and said in a deep voice: "I will make you regret not killing me today."
"You're quite tough."
Hearing this, Biscuit responded indifferently. She realized that Atomu dared to say this because he knew that she would not kill him.
But she didn't care, and turned to look at Law, who was more than ten meters away, and said, "Did you hear that?"
"I heard it." Law responded obediently, like a well-behaved child. Since Biscuit had already revealed her true self, there was no point in pretending otherwise.
There was no need for unnecessary words at the moment. Biscuit walked past Law toward the partially collapsed palace. One of her objectives in coming to the tomb was to obtain Stargie's Tears.
Seeing Biscuit walking towards Stargie's body and the stone harp, Law hurriedly followed. Since Atomu was seriously injured, he had lost the qualifications to compete with him for Stargie's body.
Biscuit arrived in front of Stargie's body first. When she took a closer look, a look of amazement flickered in her eyes, 'No wonder Atomu and Law were fighting for this body. Considering her identity, the value of this well-preserved body was indeed inestimable.'
However, Biscuit was only interested in the gemstone pendant.
She bent down and unclasped the gemstone pendant, holding it carefully in her hand and examining it closely. Instantly, a look of fascination appeared on her face. Compared to the way she had been speaking with Atomu earlier, it was as if she were a completely different person.
Stargie's Tear were taken by Biscuit first, so Law had no opportunity to act. He could only take advantage of Biscuit's attention on the gemstone pendant and silently touched the stone harp to absorb the Nen on it.
The average value became 36%...it only increased by about 1%, but his nearly depleted Aura received a slight replenishment.
After admiring the pendant for a moment, Biscuit unceremoniously stowed it away. She then looked at Law and asked, "How do you plan to deal with this body?"
"Deal with it?" Law withdrew his hand from the stone harp and asked in confusion.
"You were willing to challenge Atom over this corpse… was it for money, or do you have some weird hobby of collecting bodies?" Biscuit curled her lips. She had almost given up on him because of his seemingly unwise decision.
If Law had risked his life for personal interests and quirks, she could understand it, after all, all Hunters were like that. But if it was for money, that would be foolish.
"Neither." Law shook his head.
"Huh?" Biscuit was puzzled.
"I just... don't want her to be used by others even after death. So, she should be here instead of being a commodity to be traded."
Law stared quietly at Stargie's delicate and beautiful face. He couldn't explain in detail to Biscuit unless Biscuit could, like him, witness Stargie's entire life from an outsider's perspective.
But that was impossible. In the entire world, only Law had this ability. Just as Black Cat had once said, he was indeed a special existence.
"That's it?" Biscuit's eyes widened.
"Yeah." Law tilted his head and looked at her.
The two stared at each other for a while, and the atmosphere grew awkward. To be precise, the way Biscuit looked at Law gradually became more peculiar.
"You're such a fool." After learning the reason why Law was fighting for the body, Biscuit gave her evaluation. But she found his foolishness endearing, and her impression of him shifted completely.
Law smiled awkwardly and scratched his head, not knowing what to say.
Biscuit stood up, turned her head to look at Atomu, who was sitting cross-legged in the distance with his eyes closed, and then looked back at Law. He saw Law walking towards the collapsed palace, and Aura slowly emerged from his body.
"What are you doing?" Biscuit asked.
"Repairing."
Law replied and used the remaining Aura to create a Domain, enveloping the front half of the palace that Atomu had destroyed.
'Repair? This kid's Nen Ability is pretty unusual.' Biscuit used Gyo and saw Law's Domain. She then recalled the book he had summoned earlier during the battle. However, she still couldn't quite figure out what his Nen Ability entailed.
As for Mr. Muscle... Biscuit was even less inclined to believe in that story now.
The Domain covered the ruins of the palace, and Law concentrated intensely. Given his current control, repairing the palace shouldn't be a problem.
With that thought, he activated his ability, and within the Domain, the broken palace fragments lifted into the air and began piecing themselves back together.
"Interesting!"
Looking at this scene, Biscuit's eyes lit up and she felt like she had discovered a treasure.
Suddenly, an image popped into her mind:
She was holding a stick, forcing Law to repair all sorts of shattered, expensive gemstones!
At this thought, a sly grin spread across her face.
