Symphony of Chaos

Sil moved with impossible speed, slipping effortlessly between suspended breaths and stilled heartbeats. Time hung around him like droplets caught midair, shimmering crystalline beads scattered amidst the stasis. Swift as a specter, he found Jade first, her face frozen in alarm, one arm still limp, her shoulder shattered grotesquely. With gentle urgency, Sil pressed his palms to her skin; warmth surged beneath his fingers, knitting bone and sinew instantly, dissolving pain into memory. Her eyes blinked in slow confusion as time began to thaw around her awareness.

"Sil? How—"

"No time," he whispered sharply, voice brimming with an unspoken promise of explanation. He was already moving, leaving her wide-eyed astonishment behind.

He came upon Shiro next, he was in rough shape. A few seconds of Sil's healing touch and he too was in shock and bewildered. "Sil, wha-" but before he could finish his sentence, Sil just shook his head.

"No time, later. Shiro, I need you to set the course for home, be prepared to go at a moments notice. Find us the fastest route, to get us as far away from here as possible- I will handle things from here."

Shiro opened his mouth like he intended to argue. He wanted to argue. He wanted to demand to stay and help, he wanted to fight. However, In the end, he simply placed a single hand on Sil's shoulder, and with an understanding nod and an encouraging squeeze of Sil's shoulder, Shiro had conveyed all the meaning necessary to say, in that moment. He didn't want to leave Sil, to fight without him. But the confident and self assured presence eminating from him just then, informed Shiro he needent worry. He had faith in Sil. He also knew that navigating their timely departure was a matter of grave importance. And Shiro was by far the most skilled navigator among them. With that, he turned and ran back to the Blade ship.

Cassidy was next, Sil flooded healing energy through her shattered arm, muscle and bone mended with dizzying swiftness.

"Ship. Now. Help Shiro initiate the pre-launch sequence and be ready to retract the armature the second I am through." he instructed, eyes blazing with a newfound strength and something brighter, more intense—a spark that hadn't been there in decades. Cassidy stared open-mouthed, sensing the raw power rippling through his aura, questions were quickly swallowed by urgency. She nodded resolutely, pulling Jade, who was staring wide eyed at Sil with her jaw practically on the ground.

She had a childlike wonder in her gaze, like a young girl seeing her favorite super hero or teen idol in person. Sil was after all very much like a childhood superhero to her. Stuck in her overwhelming amazement, she shook it off, her sanity returned and both women rushing to the cockpit to ready their escape.

Time snapped back like a rubber band released, Calyx stumbling, empty-handed, his balance shattered by the sudden absence of Sil's weight hanging by his neck beneath his grip. He staggered, confused and searching frantically.

But Sil was already before him—standing tall, face serene and confident, a mischievous smirk playing on lips that moments ago had trembled near death. Calyx opened his mouth to shout in fury, but Sil's fist had already gathered cosmic momentum.

The punch landed like a meteor, a thunderclap echoing as Calyx was launched across the bay. He crashed violently into the reinforced metal wall, leaving a cratered dent in his wake.

Before the celestial could even comprehend the brutal blow, Sil was gone again, a blur appearing instantly at Vorden's side. He knelt, placing gentle hands over broken ribs and ruptured skin. Golden currents of healing surged from his fingertips, sealing wounds in seconds.

Vorden gasped, eyes widening impossibly. "What—how—?"

"Later," Sil grinned warmly, extending a hand. Vorden accepted it, heart pounding, astonishment surging through him. Then, his gaze dropped sharply to their joined hands, a cascade of tiny flames flowing swiftly, a river of molten stars pooling in his stomach. A surge of strength flooded every nerve and cell; he smiled incredulously, euphoric disbelief on his lips.

Raten's laughter pierced the air, maniacal, triumphant. He leaped upon Sil, gripping him in a fierce hug, their hands clasped tight. A heartbeat later, Raten stepped back, eyes blazing wide, a wild, devilish smile erupting across his features. Flames now danced at his fingertips as he laughed darkly, joyously, and utterly unhinged.

Sil met their nearly glowing eyes, his voice quiet and fierce. "Ready, brothers?"

"Oh yes," Vorden breathed, anticipation and fire igniting in his veins.

Raten's voice cut loud and harsh, dripping venomous delight. "You're fucked now, jackass!" His deranged laughter echoed harshly as he sped to the right, circling the god like a predator eager for blood.

Vorden exchanged a quick, amused glance with Sil, who shrugged and smiled softly, a playful exasperation radiating between them. Vorden dashed left, his steps lightning-fast, crackling with power.

Sil drew a steadying breath, examining his rejuvenated palms, relishing the rebirth of his strength. With serene determination, he strode forward, a direct, fearless line toward the disoriented celestial.

Through the ship's improvised doorway, Jade and Cassidy watched transfixed, jaws slack as the brothers descended upon Calyx in a breathtaking dance of destruction. Their strikes wove together seamlessly, fluid and hypnotic.

Calyx lashed out wildly, astonished rage marring his once-divine elegance. "Impossible!" he bellowed, dodging bolts of searing lightning and waves of blinding flame. "How are you restored, Sil Blade? And your echoes—so powerful—they are no mere shadows now!"

Raten's mocking laughter echoed from the high ceiling, followed swiftly by blazing fists that slammed mercilessly into Calyx's ribs, sending arcs of electricity through his celestial frame. Vorden followed instantly with brutal efficiency, fists enhanced by body hardening, cracking like thunder against divine bones. Calyx stumbled, gasping.

Sil stood calm, deadly, eyes bright as suns. "Surprised, Calyx? Let's just say—I made a deal."

The celestial roared furiously, unleashing torrents of destructive energy that sent the cargo bay into chaos. But the brothers moved like phantoms, never faltering, each evasion seamless and natural, anticipatory. Raten laughed wickedly, weaving flame, then lightning, in impossible spirals. Vorden matched the savage grace, landing devastating blows and shattering Calyx's defenses. Sweet, sweet, retribution.

Suddenly, Vorden noticed something. The sinister rage that once broiled in his infinite, nebulous eyes had changed. There was now something else in it's place. It took a minute to figure it out, but as soon as he did he smiled. "You fear us, don't you, Calyx!" He taunted, eyes fierce and perceptive. "Your maskless face hides nothing!"

Indeed, beneath swirling celestial armor, fear blossomed cold and sharp. Calyx recalled vividly—Sil's gaze, the taste of his demise—death at the hands of the Godslayer. History now promised a repetition.

Together, the brothers' movements mirrored perfect synchronization, interwoven strikes, almost indistinguishable from one another—three entities yet a singular, unified tempest. Calyx was pushed backward beneath relentless fury, desperation etched starkly on his visage.

"Wait!" Calyx pleaded, voice cracking. "Tell me how this was done—"

Sil's eyes were like cold steel, unyielding. "Now you want to have a dialogue? I'm afraid you forfeited that right when you decided to go after my brothers."

The three brothers surged simultaneously, a blur of devastating precision. Vorden's hardened fists drove forward in a crushing blow, shattering celestial ribs. Raten's fists and fire engulfed Calyx's frame, burning divine energy away. Sil's final strike—a focused point of super-strength, lightning-infused fists punching straight into Calyx's heart, erupted in dazzling brilliance.

In his final seconds, Calyx's form shimmered, fracturing into brilliant light. Sparkling motes drifted gently, dissolving softly into nothingness, returning to stardust.

Breathing deeply, Vorden and Raten turned slowly, awe washing over them as they regarded Sil. His presence gleamed with renewed vitality, eyes clearer, body straighter—he looked younger, stronger, as if death's hand had been reversed entirely. A wave of emotion rose sharply; tears welled in their eyes. He was their brother once more, returned fully. They truly looked more like triplets now.

The cargo bay groaned ominously beneath their feet, damaged heavily by their battle. Automated alarms suddenly blared, emergency confinement sequences were being initiated, the entire deck was being rapidly sealed off.

"Time to go," Sil announced firmly.

They raced back to the ship, feet swift, hearts pounding triumphantly. Moments later, buckled securely inside the safety of the Blade ship, Shiro slammed on the controls, propelling them away from the city ship just as the emergency sealing commenced, heavy metal barriers clanged, closing off every hallway and reinforced the large external doors.

With collective breaths finally calming, stars blurred before their vision, stretching into cosmic streaks as the ship leaped onto its preprogrammed route—leaving behind nothing and carrying only the memories of a triumphant, and impossible victory.
