The Glass Ship

The immense golden beam of the Glass Ship steadily grasped the spaceship of Rakien and his companions, slowly pulling it back from the gravitational field of the Travis Asynchronous Space. Several small spacecraft tightly guarded around, acting as loyal protectors, ensuring the process was flawless. As the spaceship gradually approached, the entirety of the Glass Ship finally revealed itself.

The colossal mothership loomed like a vast and majestic cosmic whale, quietly suspended in the endless darkness. Its grand form seemed to be made up of countless stars, radiating an awe-inspiring, almost divine light. This radiance, like a brilliant galaxy, illuminated the surrounding dark void, filling the originally cold and silent space with an air of mystery and solemnity.

In comparison, the spaceship that Rakien and his crew were on seemed insignificant. This large spacecraft, beside the giant mothership, was but a drop in the ocean, as tiny as a grain of sand floating beside a cosmic whale.

"Wow, this mothership is really... too big!" Little Karn murmured, his eyes almost unable to tear away from the screen.

"We are like a speck of dust," Old Karn's voice conveyed disbelief, his heart filled with awe.

Under the escort of the Glass Ship, the spaceship was finally securely placed on a massive platform by the beam. The hatch opened, and Marlene led everyone out, sitting on a nearby flight platform. As the platform gently sank into an entrance of the mothership, the surroundings began to change. The entrance of the mothership was a passageway shimmering with blue light. When the platform entered, there was a sudden brightening, and everyone's eyes widened in shock.

The hollow interior of the mothership was vast beyond the limits of human imagination! As the spaceship slowly sailed into it, it was as if they had suddenly traversed into a miniature universe. Countless small aircraft, like agile schools of fish, freely moved back and forth in this vast cavity. Some were as fast as lightning, others as slow as clouds, creating a vibrant and dynamic tapestry.

Glancing around, there were facilities and intricate piping systems of various sizes and heights. Some facilities towered like skyscrapers, while others were as delicate as exquisite ornaments; the pipes crisscrossed like a dense spider's web covering the entire space. In addition, many mysteriously glowing entrances dotted the area, resembling stars scattered across the night sky. All of this together formed a stunning, futuristic three-dimensional city, quietly suspended in mid-air, dreamlike and illusory.

Being in such a boundless space, everyone would involuntarily feel an illusion—as if they had already entered a boundless, unrestricted, and limitless wondrous world. Here, time seemed to lose its meaning, and space became less tangible and reliable. People could freely spread their wings of imagination to explore the unknown territories, pursuing their yearning and desire for the unknown world.

Rakien looked up at the vast space, at the buildings and aircraft floating in mid-air, his mouth agape, almost fainting. "This is too incredible..."

"It's simply... a miracle," Old Karn's voice was filled with shock.

"Welcome to the Glass Ship," Marlene said with a smile, gently patting their shoulders.

They were taken by the flight platform to a spacious area. Neat and futuristic facilities came into view, the cabin filled with transparent capsule-like tanks. Each tank had a thin glass cover, glowing softly, the entire room exuding a tranquil atmosphere.

"Enter these medical tanks; they can quickly repair your physical injuries," Marlene pointed to these compartments.

Rakien, Old Karn, and Little Karn each entered these medical glass tanks. The transparent covers silently closed, and a cool beam of light shone down from the top of the tank, enveloping their bodies. At the same time, tiny suspended particles flew out from the beam, beginning a precise scan and repair from their heads to their toes.

Under this cool illumination, Rakien only felt the tension and fatigue in his whole body disappear instantly, his entire body surrounded by an extreme sense of comfort, as if all his cells were rejuvenating. He almost fell asleep in this relaxation.

A few minutes later, the capsule glass tanks opened silently, and Rakien's injuries had been completely healed. Everyone felt an unprecedented sense of relief and recovery, as if they had just undergone a complete rebirth.

Marlene came over, smiling and motioning to them: "Follow me."

They boarded the flight platform again, which slowly rose, carrying them through the cavity of the mothership. At this moment, they could more clearly see the entirety of the countless aircraft, facilities, and floating buildings, even seeing some human-like staff in the distance manipulating various high-tech equipment, everything in perfect order.

"This is simply... another world," Little Karn whispered, still unable to believe what he saw.

As the flight platform continued to rise, they finally arrived at a softly lit passage. The passage had doors on both sides, and Marlene arranged individual rooms for each of them.

"You can rest well now. The rooms have the most advanced equipment and will provide everything you need," Marlene said, "I live next door in SU68227, call me anytime if you have any questions."

Rakien pushed open the door and walked in. The sight before him left him completely stunned. It was a room filled with a sense of technology, the walls emitting soft light, the entire space layout simple yet futuristic. The walls were embedded with several transparent screens, and the corners of the room held some streamlined furniture. The air was filled with a fragrance that brought calm.

"Welcome, Rakien," a gentle intelligent voice suddenly sounded, projecting a virtual human image, "This is the bathing area, this is the resting area, if you need any other help, please let me know at any time."

Rakien nodded and walked into the bathing area. The walls had transparent liquid pipes, and water seemed to naturally converge from the air, the entire process without any noise. When he stepped out of the bathing area, the walls automatically opened, revealing a set of clean clothes and shoes.

"You can change into this set of clothes," the virtual image gently prompted.

Rakien hesitated for a moment, then put on the clothes. To his surprise, the clothes seemed to have a life of their own! They instantly adjusted in size! Perfectly fitting his body. Rakien was astonished; the clothes were incredibly soft and comfortable, as if an extension of his skin.

When Rakien reached the sleeping area, he already felt extremely tired. He involuntarily fell onto the bed, and the mattress immediately adjusted its shape according to his body, as if tailor-made for him.

The moment he closed his eyes, Rakien finally felt the long-lost sense of calm and security. He felt exhausted and fell into a deep sleep.
