Chapter 1.1: Warfull Love
Year 2133. Much spaceships were integrated to different alliances and corporations, and having troubles with each other, causing also... Wars... Conflicts with each other, for simple things, as who would obtain more resources; while also, simple conflicts of living, as humans tend to be troublemakers and conflictive, warfull, and more...
No matter the world, planet, galaxy, or anything else. The place is irrelevant, as humankind's nature is unchangeable. Either for good, or bad, but all depends of their personality, and what they decide with their selves.
During the years of humanity conquering planets, and exterminating what they consider a threat, very low remained against the true cruelty the humanity was having against everything, even their selves. One of this remains of kind in humanity, was Sophie, a young woman, and also... The daughter itself of one of the leaders of the army of humanity.
Sophie always had a disgust towards the decisions her mother, used to do and take, for any possible benefit. She tried to talk, as first, she thought dialogue could help, but didn't reach anywhere. She tried to pray to her mother, for a change of heart, and re-think in what she is doing; but her mother simply took it as her daughter was just not seeing what she was seeing, and just had to mature.
Sophie tried hardly for any possibility, but every time... It was an empty attempt. Deaths from all bands were happening, and more and more families were heartbroken, blaming the leaders for take such decisions, and this... Was also blamed towards Sophie.
Sophie always had to apologize for everything, even almost all the times wasn't her fault, until she reached the age of 16.
Once Sophia was old enough, she started studying medicine, and also, took as implement course, engineering technology. She wanted to be able to heal anyone, and try all she could to save as much as possible; while also fix hard mechanical machines designed for war, and try to upgrade them, and maybe, build if had time. She really wanted to stop this, but she needed help... She couldn't alone...
Years later, Sophie successfully finished the courses, graduating. With the knowledge obtained through the years of study, she sent herself along a fraction of the army, to start her duty, and the changes for everyone's future.
Year 2137: Sophie was "sent" to participate in one of the battles, as her own decision. She remained always in the back part of the battlefield, healing, and fixing some slight fissures on the mechas. As the conflict continued, it progressed further and further, until she got cornered by a sneak attack. Luckily, she got saved by a group of mechas, guided by Marcus.
Both had a moment of stare, until Marcus asked for her status, and she almost couldn't answer, so only replied with a similar shy answer of yes. Marcus decided to leave, and continued, leaving Sophie, while she was with a deeper intern conflict with herself.
Near an hour later, the conflict was soon to be ended, but wasn't over yet, and Sophie had another encounter with Marcus, but this time, he was heavily injured. Sophie didn't hesitate, and acted immediately. While she was treating Marcus, she couldn't help herself, but feel something against her, inside her mind... Inside her heart...
At the end, humanity won that conflict, and was with less deaths than wanted, so Sophie felt relaxed and proud of making less people be dead, but instead of returning for be ready for next time she could be needed, Sophie decided to be part of Marcus' team.
