Chapter: The Secret Unveiled in Darkness – The Name of Elirion
After the destruction of Vennette, the battlefield had fallen silent. Black flames still rose from Kael's body, but his eyes were fixed on the void. With every step, the questions echoing deep in his mind grew louder. Only three words remained: "Go to the Sky Kingdom."
As he moved through the ashes, a man with shattered armor appeared before him. In his eyes, the last remnants of light still flickered. This was Seraphon, the Commander of the Sacred Guardians—the loyal sentinel of the Sky Kingdom, the only high-ranking guardian left after Vennette's death.
When Kael approached, Seraphon knelt on one knee and looked up at Kael with a sacred horror in his eyes.
"You… you've defeated her too…" he whispered.
Kael remained silent. Yet the darkness inside him trembled.
Seraphon continued in a hoarse voice:
"There's only one left to face you now… The Firstborn of the Sky… The Master of Time and Light… He, the one who was meant to emerge at the end of all this destruction… Elirion."
Kael furrowed his brow. "This name… it means nothing to me."
Seraphon lowered his head. "It shouldn't. No one was meant to know him. Even the gods forbade speaking of his existence. He is the first sinner. A being feared even by the gods. More than a true name, Elirion is the echo of a fate. The First Light, the Final Destruction… and the only being comparable to you."
Kael's eyes gleamed. "Is he waiting for me?"
Seraphon shook his head, his smile a mixture of pain and sorrow. "No. He was waiting for himself. Because with your arrival, he has also been completed. You represent darkness, and he embodies the absolute cruelty of light. And the clash between you two will be the final line of this universe."
Kael took a step back. Even the darkness within him seemed to recognize the weight of this name.
"Elirion…" he murmured. "So, it begins at last..."
