Chapter 242: Madness and the Dominant Battlefield

Gemini caught Pisces, staggering slightly before barely managing to stand firm. He looked at Leo with furrowed brows and a complicated expression in his voice. "Leo, are you really going to keep fighting? If this continues, we'll all die here!"

Leo didn't respond. He slowly lifted his head, his gaze burning like fire. Clutching the Yaha Blade tightly, the orange sword aura coiled around it like flames, radiating a suffocating pressure. His voice was low but filled with power: "I will not allow anyone to stand above me."

He paused briefly, locking eyes with Hayato, his voice carrying a heavy weight. "Do you think I wasn't using my full power just now?"

Hayato stood not far away, a manic grin still stretched across his face. He licked the blood off his lips, his laughter tinged with insanity. "Ahahaha! You want a one-on-one? You think you're worthy?!"

Leo smirked coldly, his steps firm as he advanced toward Hayato. The Yaha Blade in his hand pulsed with gathering energy.

"Use your life to find out if I'm worthy!"

As his words fell, his sword aura erupted in a blazing explosion. The overwhelming gravitational force instantly engulfed the ruins of Sonia. The ground cracked under the immense pressure, crushed into fine dust. The entire space seemed to tremble.

Leo charged straight at Hayato, his sword strike carrying an oppressive force like a mountain crashing down. Hayato felt his body growing exponentially heavier, as though he was being crushed into a thin sheet. He crossed his twin blades in defense, but his legs were already sinking into the ground, his body bending under the immense weight.

"Hahahaha! That's all you got? You think this will make me surrender?" Hayato laughed madly as sparks flew between his twin blades.

But Leo's assault did not stop. His Yaha Blade swept horizontally, carrying the force of a meteor impact, slamming directly into Hayato's defense.

Boom—!

A massive shockwave burst out. Hayato's body was flung like a broken kite, crashing deep into the ruins with explosive force. The impact left a massive crater, scattering debris skyward like a stone rain.

Dust and smoke shrouded the ruins, making Hayato's figure hard to discern. But the cracks in the crater's center continued to spread, revealing the terrifying power of Leo's strike.

Standing tall, Leo's chest heaved, his orange sword aura still swirling around the Yaha Blade. His eyes sharpened. "Let's see if you can still stand."

Blood trickled down Hayato's forehead. He wiped it away with his hand, then licked the blood from his fingers, a deranged smile spreading across his lips. "Just a loud-mouthed idiot."

Leo's expression darkened, fury igniting within him. He gripped the Yaha Blade tightly and charged at Hayato once more. With every step, the gravitational force doubled in intensity, making the air itself feel dense. The ground beneath them was crushed into powder, and the ruins trembled, on the verge of collapsing under the pressure.

Hayato leaped onto the shattered debris, barely keeping up. Every movement felt like scaling an impossibly high peak. Veins bulged on his forehead, his muscles straining against the suffocating gravity.

Leo raised the Yaha Blade high, its orange glow growing ever more blinding. "Dance, from all directions!!!"

The gravity field concentrated into an invisible wall, compressing toward Hayato, trapping him in the center. His movements slowed, his body bending under the force, his twin blades nearly slipping from his grasp. He looked like crumpled paper, his form nearly distorted under the crushing weight.

Leo approached step by step, his Yaha Blade emanating a pressure stronger than ever. He murmured, "It's over."

The sword, like a descending meteor, slashed toward Hayato with the force to destroy everything in its path. The air itself howled as the ruins seemed ready to be obliterated.

At that critical moment, Usagi gasped for breath, summoning every last drop of strength to assemble four miniature cannons behind her. The interwoven red and black light glowed like the embodiment of her unwavering resolve. She knew Leo's ability was nearly invincible—his command over gravity was akin to bending the very laws of reality. Even so, she gritted her teeth, her eyes unyielding. "Leo, your ability is so damn unfair!"

The four cannons snapped into place, their barrels glowing with immense heat. Energy surged like a tidal wave. With a sharp cry, Usagi fired them all at once!

Leo's Yaha Blade was poised to finish Hayato, but at the last second, he caught sight of the four incoming beams. His expression darkened.

"What?!"

The beams tore through the battlefield, grazing past Hayato's body with flawless precision before heading straight for Leo. The black spheres entwined within the beams clashed with the gravitational field, causing intense spatial distortions. The powerful forces ripped apart Leo's gravity field.

The crushing force on Hayato vanished in an instant. His body felt light again. Like a beast unchained, he lunged forward, his twin blades spinning like a whirlwind, striking toward Leo.

Leo, caught between two simultaneous attacks, lost his previous advantage. His Yaha Blade clashed against Hayato's twin blades, generating a burst of sparks. But Hayato didn't stop. His dual blades twisted unpredictably, striking again and again, forcing Leo onto the defensive. Shock flickered in Leo's eyes—he could feel the sheer killing intent behind Hayato's strikes.

"You crazy bastard!!" Leo roared, but his voice was drowned out by Hayato's wild laughter.

"Crazy? Find out for yourself!" Hayato's blades spun like a cyclone, slicing toward Leo's arm. Blood sprayed instantly. Leo gritted his teeth, holding his ground with the Yaha Blade, but the pain slowed his reaction for just a fraction of a second.

At that moment, the four cannon beams converged, their overwhelming force crashing into Leo's sword. The gravity field shattered once more. Leo was violently pushed back, his feet dragging deep trenches into the battlefield, carving through the ruins like a tunneling force.

A storm of debris swept through the battlefield as the cannon blasts hurled Leo into the depths of the ruins. The impact sent tremors across the land, shaking the battlefield like a localized earthquake. Stones and rubble were thrown in every direction, and a thick veil of dust engulfed the war zone.

Boom—!

The ruins collapsed completely, massive boulders tumbling and smashing against the ground with thunderous echoes. It was as if the battlefield itself shuddered at the sheer destructive force of the attack. Amidst the swirling dust and lingering energy waves, Leo's form was buried beneath the rubble, with only a torn piece of his cloak fluttering in the wind.
