Chapter 253: Battle Between Humans and Beasts

In the Gabrielle Valley, the moonlight pierced through the clouds, casting a dim glow that made the terrain look even more eerie and menacing. The wind howled through the valley, carrying sand and dust along with it. The dead silence was suddenly broken by the sound of swift, light footsteps approaching.

Watcher No. 11 dashed into the valley, his movements both comical and unnervingly strange. His black trench coat flapped wildly in the wind, and his sunglasses slid down to the bridge of his nose. He casually adjusted them with one hand, revealing a cocky grin.

However, he abruptly halted. The air around him thickened, laden with an overwhelming killing intent. His expression froze for a moment before his grin deepened, now tinged with amusement.

Ahead, a massive shadow lurked in the darkness, exuding an oppressive aura like a tidal wave. Its blood-red eyes gleamed ominously, and its enormous fangs glistened under the moonlight, making unsettling clacking noises as they ground together.

A deep, guttural growl rumbled from the creature, a mixture of fury and agony. "Aka... where are you... where are you...?!"

"WHERE?!?!?!?!?!"

The deafening roar echoed throughout the valley, shaking the ground beneath them. Yet, Watcher No. 11 remained motionless, letting the fierce wind tug at his coat and cowboy hat. He pressed one hand against the brim of his hat, unfazed by the intense bloodlust.

"Oh? That scent..." Alan wrinkled his nose as if catching a familiar fragrance. Then, suddenly, he burst into laughter. "It's here! It's here!!" His voice brimmed with childlike glee, as if he had just found a long-lost toy.

Turning to face the massive shadow, he smirked playfully. "Hey, big guy! Is your target Gabrielle?"

The beast paused its roaring, its glowing yellow eyes narrowing as they locked onto Watcher No. 11. Its voice was harsh and impatient. "Who are you? Get lost—!!!"

Alan remained unbothered. With an exaggerated movement, he placed one hand on his hip and dramatically pointed toward the sky with the other, striking a self-proclaimed stylish pose. "Listen up! I am Eastoniante D. Alan! Watcher No. 11! Gahahaha!"

The beast scoffed in disdain. "The pathetic organization that got beaten to a pulp by the new eighth-generation leader? Pfft! Get lost—!!!"

Still grinning, Alan shrugged, his tone relaxed and nonchalant. "Forget about the Watchers. I just have one question—Is your target Gabrielle?"

The beast, now visibly annoyed, growled lowly, its voice dripping with suppressed rage. "So what if it is?!"

"Hah, then there's nothing more to say." Alan's grin suddenly vanished. In an instant, his figure became a blur. In the blink of an eye, he had already appeared directly before the beast, his small frame starkly contrasting its towering bulk.

The beast—an enormous tiger beastman—dilated its pupils in shock. It hadn't expected Alan to move so fast! "You—!"

"You're done for!!!" Alan declared gleefully, swinging his leg in a casual kick aimed at the beastman's abdomen.

At first glance, the kick seemed unremarkable—simple, effortless, lacking any dramatic movements. The air around them remained still, undisturbed by any apparent force.

However—

CRACK, CRACK, CRACK, CRACK—!!!

The tiger beastman's expression contorted in agony, its pupils contracting violently. In the next second, its abdomen collapsed inward as though struck by a meteor. The sound of bones shattering filled the air, sharp and rapid, like porcelain smashing against stone! Its massive body was sent hurtling backward, smashing through towering trees as they splintered like brittle twigs. Dust and debris exploded into the air, engulfing the surroundings in chaos.

The beast's body crashed through the rocky walls of the valley, creating shockwaves so powerful that even the wind roared in protest.

The tiger beastman felt its ribs crumble under the overwhelming force. It tried to dig its claws into the ground to stop its trajectory, but no matter how it struggled, its body remained uncontrollably airborne, tearing through the valley and vanishing into the distance.

Alan dusted off his hands as if merely warming up. Standing still, he waved lazily in the direction the beast had flown, his grin returning. "Gahahaha! You think you can target Gabrielle? Not on my watch—!"

The tiger beastman desperately clawed at the ground, its sharp talons carving deep trenches into the rock before finally coming to a rough stop after smashing through the final valley wall. Dust filled the air as it panted heavily, its eyes filled with sheer disbelief.

"What... what kind of monster is that guy?!"

Its mind reeled in shock. The pain was unbearable, but the horror it felt ran even deeper. Its fractured ribs began mending rapidly, bones snapping back into place with sickening cracks. A deep, menacing growl rumbled from its throat as it glared toward Alan's direction, seething with rage.

"The Watchers have someone this strong?! Impossible—!!!"

With a powerful stomp, the ground beneath it crumbled, sending a shockwave through the valley. The tiger beastman launched itself into the air like a cannonball, aiming straight for Alan!

"Oh?" Alan tilted his head, raising a hand to shield his eyes in a mock observation. "Wow? Beasts really are like cockroaches, huh?"

His tone was filled with mockery, utterly unfazed by the incoming attack.

In an instant, the tiger beastman was upon him, its enormous claws slicing through the air with deadly precision. Its assault was relentless, each strike aiming to tear Alan apart!

Alan, however, leaped back like a startled chicken, shrinking his neck in exaggerated fear. "Ahhh! Murder! Gahaha!"

His movements were absurd, hopping and twisting as if dancing, his agile body weaving through the beast's attacks with unnatural ease. Occasionally, he even flapped his arms like a bird, his expression a mixture of amusement and taunting mischief.

BANG! BANG! BANG! The beast's claws struck the ground repeatedly, shattering the earth with each impact. But Alan remained just beyond reach, effortlessly dodging as though he were toying with his opponent.

"Hey, don't swing so wildly! You might hit something important!" Alan laughed, wiggling his arms in a mock dance, occasionally letting out a chicken-like cluck. "Gahaha! Careful there! I'm ticklish!"

The beast's pupils shrank in fury, veins bulging across its muscular frame. It roared, its rage reaching a boiling point. "ARE YOU MOCKING ME?!"

Its attacks intensified, each swipe more ferocious than the last. The sheer force of its blows cracked the very air around them.

Yet, Alan's playful grin never faded. He dodged effortlessly, his movements an unpredictable blur.

"Wow, are you still hungry? Your strength feels so weak, I might just fall asleep!" Alan taunted, spinning in place like a bird pecking at the ground.

The tiger beastman could take no more. With an earth-shaking roar, it charged forward, ready to rip him apart.
