Above the Gabrielle Valley, an overwhelming pressure spread like a flood, surging into the sky and shaking every corner of the land. The intensity of the battle aura extended for hundreds of miles, as if announcing the extraordinary scale of this war.
Not far from the valley, in a nearby shelter, Usagi suddenly jolted awake from her daze, her heartbeat pounding like a drum. Her eyes, still unfocused, scanned her surroundings, only to be startled by the chaos around her. The shelter was filled with anxious voices, and fear was etched on every face.
"What... what's going on?" she murmured to herself, but only one name echoed in her mind."Hayato..."
She scrambled to her feet, only to nearly collapse from weakness. Looking around frantically, she called out, "Hayato! Where are you? If you're here, answer me!"
But her only response was the growing clamor outside and the faint tremors in the ground.
Usagi froze, her face losing color."An ability user? Who's fighting?"
She tried to extend her senses toward the overwhelming battle energy, but her body, weakened by anemia, left her dizzy and unable to summon more strength. The more she thought about it, the more anxious she became.Could it be Hayato? If it really is him... what should I do?
Deep in the depths of hell, in a land of pitch-black lava, a massive shadow lurked within the thick sulfurous smoke. A deep, rumbling laugh echoed through the infernal realm.
"It's already begun? Aren't they being a little too impatient?"
Nearby, a bloodthirsty man with a vicious expression leaned against a stone wall, a mocking smirk tugging at his lips."What's so strange about that? I'll go take a look. I want to know which idiot dared to unleash a 'rule-breaking' level battle aura."
The massive creature shifted slightly, its voice low and cautious."Make sure to lock the gates of hell. If another fool stumbles in and gains the power of the underworld, and the King of the Underworld comes after us, neither of us will survive."
The bloodthirsty man laughed, raising his blood-stained hand to sense something in the air."Relax, I have no intention of getting involved. But I still need to see which reckless fool caused such a commotion."
Meanwhile, high above the sky, amidst drifting clouds, a woman of eerie, almost demonic beauty lounged on the clouds. A faint blush on her cheeks made her expression both seductive and dangerous. She licked her lips, barely suppressing her excitement.
"I wonder who's fighting? I can't wait to go down and get beaten to death... or maybe... beating someone to death could be fun too."
Beside her, a tall, burly man in a work vest and a baseball cap sat lazily, a bottle of alcohol in hand. His voice was filled with careless amusement."Big sis, I want to go check it out too. With all this commotion, if someone's after 'that thing,' we'd better snatch it first. Heh."
The woman scoffed, dousing his enthusiasm with cold reality."It's not time yet, Boms. The prophecy says 'that thing' won't appear for another five years. Whoever's fighting now is probably just a couple of brainless fools fighting over some petty grudge."
Boms grinned."Heh, even someone as smart as me knows 'that thing' wouldn't show up this early. This fight? Definitely a battle between dumbasses!"
The woman traced her fingers along her cheek, a crazed excitement flickering in her eyes."But even so... we still need to check it out! This kind of spectacle is too good to miss."
Boms took a deep swig from his bottle, stood up, and revealed a feral grin."Let's go, big sis. Heh, I can't wait!"
The woman licked her lips and smiled seductively."Sure. And while we're at it, let's play some more... interesting 'domination' games."
With that, the two transformed into streaks of light and shot toward the battle.
On the far side of the Gabrielle Mountains, atop a desolate highland, Watcher 06 stood, gazing coldly into the distance. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes flickered with suspicion.
"This energy... is it the supreme entity that descended upon Gabrielle before? Why would it suddenly erupt into battle now?"
A deep frown creased his brow, and an ominous feeling settled in his chest. After a moment of hesitation, he finally decided to investigate. A burst of radiant light engulfed him, and in the next moment, he vanished.
At the same time, in a dark, secluded chamber, Watcher 02 also sensed the anomaly. However, he remained motionless, sitting in the shadows. His masked face concealed any emotion, making it impossible to gauge his thoughts. His hands were clasped together, his posture slightly leaning forward—like a spectator waiting for a play to unfold, or perhaps, a silent observer uninterested in interfering.
Shingin and Yuko stood frozen, stunned by the overwhelming battle energy. They remained still in a secluded valley, the atmosphere so heavy that it was hard to breathe.
"This... what level of battle is this?" Shingin muttered, staring in shock at the churning black clouds and the deafening explosions in the distance. His voice trembled with disbelief and powerlessness.
Yuko pressed her lips together, her brows furrowed. She unconsciously moved closer to Shingin and whispered,"That's definitely a Beastkin... this is dangerous. We're way too close. We need to be careful."
Tsubasa stood nearby, arms crossed, coldly gazing in the battle's direction. A fleeting, unreadable emotion flickered in her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure and spoke in an icy tone."Whatever's happening, as long as it doesn't involve us, we should stay out of it. Going there will only lead to death."
Shingin clenched his fists, his jaw tightening as he nodded heavily. He could clearly feel it—this battle was far beyond his capabilities. His grip tightened as determination burned in his eyes.I have to get stronger... Right now, I can't even withstand the aftermath of this fight.
While everyone expected this to be a battle beyond imagination, the actual scene was almost comedic.
Alan soared through the air, executing a perfect mid-air somersault. His heel came crashing down like a hammer, landing squarely on the forehead of the tiger beastkin. A thunderous "CRACK" echoed as the beastkin's skull caved in, sending its massive body rocketing down toward the valley like a missile.
BOOM!The beastkin crashed into the valley floor, triggering an explosion of dust and rubble. Boulders shattered, and the entire valley seemed to erupt like a volcanic disaster, sending debris raining down like a meteor shower.
Alan hovered in midair, smirking as he watched the scene unfold. Casually placing his hands behind his head, he scanned his surroundings—only to notice countless figures rushing toward him from all directions.
"Whoa, whoa! Why is this suddenly turning into such a spectacle?" he muttered, clearly exasperated. Then, pointing down at the still-falling beastkin, he grumbled,"This is all your fault, you dumbass! Why the hell did you have to use such flashy moves? Now I'm surrounded!"
Muttering curses under his breath, Alan lazily brushed the dust off his shoulder, acting as though the battle had been nothing more than a minor inconvenience.
Tilting his head back slightly, a smirk curved his lips as he murmured in an amused yet indifferent tone,"Tch, sticking around will only make things more troublesome... Looks like I should end this quickly."
His gaze locked onto the battered tiger beastkin below, his eyes flashing with a deadly glint. His voice was cold, devoid of any mercy.
"You dumb tiger... You're as good as dead."
