An Unfortunate!

"What are you doing?" They turned toward the sound and saw that it was Sei.

Sei raised her eyebrow, confused about their activity, and crossed her arms, tapping her foot on the ground. Kenya shrugged again, his grin widening. 

"Ah!.. hahaha! Just blowing off some steam," he ran a hand through his hair, trying to project an air of nonchalance. He smiled at Sei like sunshine, while Haruto and Kaito silently watched their conversation.

''A steam under a tree?!' Sei asked, confused yet playful. She turns to glance at Kaito and Haruto who watching them, and prompting Kaito to ask,

"Who are you?" Kaito asked while glancing at Sei.

"Ishigami Sei, class E," she replied.

They exchanged looks, and Kaito felt a strange familiarity as if he were looking into a mirror. Kaito hesitated, absorbing her words, the name ringing a bell in the back of his mind.

"Class E, huh?" he leaned back against the wall, crossing his arms. Sei raised an eyebrow, a flicker of amusement dancing in her eyes.

"Ehh!... Wait, calm down!" Kenya, sensing trouble, braced for their actions but felt a sense of déjà vu. Then he continued; "It's only one semester, ya know! Wait!... Why does this feel familiar?" He calmed them down and raised an eyebrow at his own words.

''I thought you two were a couple, but it doesn't seem that way," Kaito said, tilting his head in curiosity. Then he continues; ''Siblings?'' 

Upon hearing Kaito's question, Sei and Kenya exchanged glances for a moment before Kenya turned to look at Kaito. 

"Yeah! We're relatives," he smiled brightly, while Sei rolled her eyes at his behavior.

Meanwhile, Haruto observed silently. He stepped closer and scrutinized Sei momentarily, recalling that he had seen her before.

''Oh! I know you!... '' Haruto exclaimed;

''Huh?'' others included Sei expression;

'' Hello! I'm Takahashi Haruto," he said with a smile. "I saw you running away from the Sensei's building." Upon hearing this, Sei rolled her eyes as an adult caught the boy after making a mistake. 

At that moment, Kenya recalled that Sei had called from the Dean's office, and he turned to glance at Sei for a moment to ask if something had happened.

While feeling annoyed, his eyes scanned the area around them. Kaito, sensing the tension, moved his ear as if he wanted to know if any trouble was approaching.

"Hey! It looks like something's coming our way," he said. The others caught his meaning immediately and started to shift their gaze around, becoming more alert to their surroundings.

Four of them diligently scanned the area in different directions, each one focused on a separate point in the darkening landscape, while Haruto kept his gaze locked intently on the approaching figure, casting a glance toward the distant shadows that loomed ahead. 

He remained focused yet relaxed as female students approached. Suddenly, Kaito rushed forward and swung his Shinai ( A Japanese-like sword that is usually made of bamboo instead of wood. Shinai are also known as kendo sticks or Singapore canes. ) at one of them, his eyes wide with confusion over his actions. Meanwhile, Haruto ran to check on her, but Kaito interrupted.

''She not on herself!'' He glances at Haruto, and continues; "Perhaps she failed to absorb Yuma's heart stone."

As Kaito pointed out, the primary concern for the Quantum Benders revolves around their ability to successfully absorb Yuma's heart stone, which is crucial for them to harness the immense power that it contains. 

Yuma is a formidable monster, classified in levels ranging from 1st to 10th, with its classification signifying the highest rank of threat and power that exists within their realm.

If the Quantum Benders succeed in absorbing this remarkable power, they have the potential to greatly enhance their own aura, thereby gaining not only increased strength but also the ability to unlock and acquire new techniques that can significantly improve their capabilities in battle.

However, this endeavor is fraught with risks; should they fail in their attempt, the consequences are dire. They will find themselves susceptible to Yuma's formidable aura and will ultimately become a part of its ranks, losing their autonomy and becoming mere pawns under Yuma's control.

As the Quantum Benders readied themselves for the daunting challenge ahead, a palpable tension surrounded them. Each student wrestled with personal insecurities, fearing not only failure but also the loss of their individuality.

Tales of those who had faced Yuma before, they always said; hunters became prey, and prey became masters, their wills extinguished by the heart stone's overwhelming energy.

Others, upon hearing Kaito's words, widened their eyes, worry etched on their faces. They looked at the girl who had just stood up after being struck by Kaito's Shinai. Kenya, known for his playful personality, glanced at Kaito for a moment. 

"But not with a hit that strong! If you want to strike, make it count!" he exclaimed, leaving Sei and Haruto looking perplexed at his comments, furrowing their brows but remaining silent.

''You're lucky" The girl who just stood up, chined their conversation, made everyone's attention to her. She glances at them, then continues;

Run away while I can still control myself, first years. Remember..... it's dangerous... to fight this Yuma's types'' The first years fell silent, their expressions a mix of surprise and concern.

"Ha... ha...! Run... away..." Her voice trailed off, her head lowered and her arms crossed tightly over her body.

''HAHAHA....Ah!.. hahahaha.....'' Her voice changed, and the sound of her laugh made Kenya and the others that Yuma had completely taken control of her body."

"Ah! ... I adore her body, skin, blood, and her beautiful screams!" it said, its face reflecting satisfaction in controlling the body. Then, it abruptly turned to stare at Kenya and the others with cold, murderous eyes. 

"The first year?... but I sense a delightful aura!" it said with a grin.

"Life is so unfortunate!" Sei and Kenya thought, exchanging glances. Just two days ago, they were injured in a fight with Yuma, and now.....
