Two life One Soul

"I had no idea Yuma's aura power was so formidable," Sei remarked, a sly smile curling at the corners of her lips.

As the words left her mouth, she felt a strange detachment, as if the confident persona she presented was slipping away, leaving her feeling unmoored and unfamiliar in her body.

"How... how can you control Yuma's aura?" a monster shouted, struggling to comprehend the scene before it.

It was hard to believe that a girl like her could fail to absorb the aura within her, just as he controlled the girl's body. Yet, this girl seemed to control her own body as if nothing had happened.

Sei's lips curled into a mischievous smile as she advanced steadily toward Yuma, her footsteps light yet purposeful on the ground. The sunlight glinted off the blade of her katana, which she gripped firmly in her hand.

With a subtle movement, she adjusted her stance, the anticipation of the moment quickening her pulse. Her muscles coiled like a spring, ready to unleash another strike at any moment.

"Ahh ha!... It's been nearly 800 years since I last slept, but I don't understand why you've upset her," Sei said, having developed feelings for someone else.

Sei remains calm and unchanged despite her surroundings, but Yuma, the flying-type monster, wears a fearful expression.

Yuma has learned to detect subtle shifts in surrounding energies. While Sei appears stable, he senses a significant transformation in her aura.

Her energy begins to surge, radiating frantic intensity. As this change progresses, her aura power approaches 90%, leaving Yuma both fearful and alarmed by the overwhelming force Sei is channeling.

Yuma, a flying-type monster, hesitated, sensing a familiar aura within her. "Why didn't you show this during our fight?.... no... who are you?" he grinned, his face reflecting fear at the aura surrounding her.

Sei furrowed her brows, a flicker of irritation igniting within her. "You think I was hiding it? If I hide it, everybody in this world will not feel it." Her voice trembled, resonating with a mix of vulnerability and defiance.

"And who am I?..... boy! if you're Yuma who 600 years ago you recorded me" Sei said with a sly smile as if she liked it, by the way, nobody noticed that two personalities were in one body.

Yuma flapped his wings, the wind from his movement stirring the dust around them. "I could feel that power pulsing beneath the surface. It's like—" he paused, searching for the right words, "—like.... our master who 10th rank"

Sei clenched her fists, the aura surrounding her intensifying. Memories of her past battles flashed through her mind, every clash and every moment of synchronization.

''Kozuki Shai, that's my name of my past life'' Sei glanced at Yuma, and she rushed forward to him while his guard down.

She swung her katana with precision, the blade slicing through the air as her summons' shimmering water aura cast a mesmerizing glow over the area.

Sei then stepped back to evaluate her opponent's stance and balance, seeking to comprehend his movements and strategy before making her next move.

''Arh!!!!'' While a blade sliced at Yuma's body, he cried out such pain, and gazed at Sei, as his claw focused on Sei's neck.

Sei's eyes narrowed as she assessed Yuma's stagger. The strike had been swift, but not entirely unexpected.

Taking a deep breath, she shifted her weight, her katana gleaming in the dappled light of the battlefield. The water aura from her summons swirled around them, creating a barrier of glistening droplets that danced and refracted the sun's rays. This wasn't just a fight; it was a duel of wills, and she would not falter now.

With a quick flick of her wrist, Sei drew closer, her blade poised to block the imminent attack. Yuma lunged forward, his claws stretched wide, aiming for her throat.

Time slowed as she anticipated the trajectory, sidestepping to the left and bringing her katana down in a smooth arc aimed at his exposed flank.

Yuma stumbled back, heart racing and eyes blazing with defiance as he tried to regain his footing.

In the chaos, someone directed Kanata forward. By the time Yuma turned his head, it was too late—the blade struck swiftly, slicing deeply into his left hand.

"Arhhhhhhh!" he cried out in agony, the pain radiating through him like wildfire. Normally, he could heal the wound with his aura power, drawing on his inner energy to mend it almost instantly.

But this time felt different; he realized he couldn't access that power, leaving him vulnerable.

As Yuma recovered from the shock, Kanata pressed on, determined, walking past him toward Sei, who stood frozen with an unreadable expression. Upon reaching her, he paused, absorbing the warmth of her presence.

He looked deeply into her eyes, hoping to convey reassurance amidst the turmoil. Without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close to shield her from the chaos threatening to engulf them both.

"I'm so relieved you're okay," he whispered softly, just for her.

He kissed Sei's shoulder tenderly, resting his warm lips there while enveloping her in a tight, reassuring embrace. His actions conveyed a profound, possessive affection as if to declare to the world, 'She belongs to me.'

Sei's breath caught as an unexpected warmth surrounded her, surprised to see him there.

"Ishikawa-san," she whispered, nearly overwhelmed by the chaos around them. She tried to pull away, but he tightened his embrace, forming a tranquil sanctuary just for them.

"Don't move! I want to hold you like this!... Sei," he vowed, his voice steady with quiet determination.

''But we're in the battle!'' Sei exclaimed, her confused expression, then punctuated by her fist hitting his stomach. Sei narrowed her eyes, anger blending with determination.

''Okay! okay, alright, I'll listen."

She rolled her eyes, her fingers curling into fists.

His laughter rang out, a spark of hope piercing through the tension.

Kozuke turned to Yuma, who lay on the ground next to his swung katanas, and said,

''But you're staying here, I finished him.''
