"In this Realm, any Quantum Bender can possess multiple auras!" Sei told Shinji and Takeru, who stared at her in shock.
"What? You didn't know about this?" she exclaimed, genuinely surprised by their unexpected reaction as if this fundamental principle had eluded them until now.
Suddenly, a dense cloud of confusion enveloped the group, starkly contrasting the clear, beautiful sunny day that brought joy and warmth just moments ago.
''What's that?'' Takeru talked and turned to shield Seyi, whose small body could be easily swept away by the wind.
'Can you guess what' Sei's high?'🫣
The storm intensified, unleashing fierce winds that nearly knocked the students off their feet at the training ground, creating a chaotic atmosphere.
"Hey! Someone's coming our way!" a boy yelled, struggling to be heard over the howling wind. The students turned their heads toward his pointed finger, squinting against the harsh conditions.
Amidst the swirling debris and blinding rain, they spotted a solitary figure wielding a katana, protected by a shimmering aura of wind that shielded them from the storm's fury.
He charges at the students, catching them off guard while wielding a sheathed katana. His green eyes and dark green hair are complemented by his guardian at his side.
All the students, including Shinji, Sei, and Takeru, were attacked by him, but they managed to defend themselves just in time, sustaining only minor injuries.
"Ahh! What's wrong with this school?" Sei glared angrily at a guy.
Meanwhile, the other students were shocked, their eyes wide, as they beheld an attacker in a white uniform.
Students in white uniforms are of higher rank, especially those from the S.A. team, identifiable by their leader's red insignia. All members of the S.A. team operate under Dean Fumihito, who trains them as talented individuals.
And the slang of the SA team is 'Once they come they bring the battle'
"Wait! What's wrong with you?" Upon hearing Shinji, Takeru experienced a sense of déjà vu, as if he had heard those words before, causing him to raise an eyebrow.
''I heard some first-years engaged in a rule-breaking battle!" he said with a grin.
His light blue eyes resemble ice in a hurricane, with swirling snowstorm-like movements within them. And He has wild, handsome yellow hair.
''Hah?'' Sei questioned, her face puzzled, as Shinji and Takeru exchanged glances and turned to him.
"What do you want?" Takeru asked as Shinji moved too close to the yellow-haired guy.
The guy glanced at Takeru and Shinji, stepping even closer when Ashito, who was arguing with Jin's team, intervened.
"Wait!" he shouted. "It's not just them..... we're involved too!"
He glanced at Ashito and then turned to Takeru, exchanging a momentary look before chuckling and speaking up.
"Wait! I don't care about you guys! What are you fighting about? Who are you fighting with? Why are you acting like that? The only reason I'm here is that the 100 first-year students need to choose Kyudai Erabi, the battle days! I came to see how good you guys are, and personally, I want to tell you that one of those who broke the rules two days ago is among them."
He glanced around before stopping at Takeru and Sei, stepping closer. Lowering his head to Sei's height, he placed a hand on Takeru's shoulder.
"But I wonder why Flame Aura and Fire Aura are standing nearby together!" he said softly, causing Sei to freeze while Takeru looked at her with wide eyes.
''...''
"Haha! Sorry, I didn't mean it. But you know? These two auras of Quantum just can't coexist—it's like can't have two tigers on one mountain!" He said, then turned and walked away.
"That's why Shiba wants her as his junior student," he muses as he walks away from the training ground.
As he walks to his study building, two guys at the gate, look at him, exchanging glances and nodding as they walk together.
"Is everything alright?" one of the guys asked him,
"They might be from the next generation, but Shiba's little brother is also here," he replied, glancing around as if to confirm their surroundings.
"Not that one! I mean the girl that Shiba mentioned earlier," his friend clarified, shaking his head in exasperation.
"Ah, the girl? Well, that's perfectly fine in my opinion, but I still find it difficult to grasp why Shinba would choose her instead of his little brother," he said, crossing his arms thoughtfully.
"That's ultimately his decision, and honestly, there's nothing we can really do about it," his companion responded with a shrug, resigned to the situation.
As they continued their conversation, they made their way to the training building that lay ahead.
They entered, and as expected, the 3rd-year training ground differed from the standard first-year space, featuring an interior designed to resemble a traditional Japanese inn.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, featuring a serene lake and a beautifully arranged garden overflowing with colorful flowers that added an enchanting touch to the environment.
"Where did you go, Kagami?" a voice called out as they stepped into the room, curiosity evident in the tone.
Kagami turned to face him and responded, "Kozuki! It's really not a big deal, you know," casting a glance that mixed mild annoyance with reassurance.
"Okay, if you say so!" Kozuki replied cheerfully, a hint of playful skepticism lingering in his eyes.
He then turned his attention back to his tea, taking a sip while effortlessly balancing his katana in his other hand, clearly accustomed to managing both at once.
"Hey! I can hardly contain my excitement to meet the first years we'll be training!" one guy exclaimed, his face glowing with joy.
"Kashitaro! Didn't you mean you want to put them through some sort of punishment instead?" teased a teammate of Kagami, raising an eyebrow with a smirk.
Kashitaro quickly shook his head and responded, "No, that's not it at all! I genuinely want to see our adorable juniors and their excitement for this journey!" His infectious grin was so wide that the rest of the team couldn't help but chuckle, sharing knowing glances as they enjoyed the moment together.
However, his expression turned serious as he added fiercely,
"I just wanted to welcome them... to the Hell of Kyudai."
