I felt as if I had been trapped in a long dream, wandering through a primordial forest with a small cabin nestled among the trees.
It was like a movie playing in my mind, scenes from my childhood unfolding one after another.
But as I grew older, the dream faded, and towards the end, a voice identical to mine repeated the words "infidelity" and "betrayal" over and over.
"Infidelity... betrayal... infidelity... betrayal..."
As my consciousness slowly returned, I found myself murmuring these words.
"Justin, wake up, what's wrong?" A woman's voice echoed in my ears, her hands shaking me gently.
When I opened my eyes, I saw the woman who claimed to be my wife, her face etched with anxiety and traces of tears.
The room was brightly lit, with several doctors bustling around me.
After a while, I calmed down, and the doctors, relieved, left the room, leaving me alone with the woman.
"Infidelity... betrayal..." I said to her, repeating the haunting words from my dream.
