"You don't need to say anything; I'm doing this so you won't feel burdened."
"I knew this day would come, just didn't expect it so soon..."
Luna set down the newspaper and spoke to me gently, her voice tinged with sadness.
Though she tried to hide it, I saw a side of Luna filled with sorrow for the first time.
She wasn't showing it off; she was smiling as she spoke, but the smile was strained.
"Ever since you regained your memory, I've seen how you struggle every day."
"You haven't mentioned anything, but I know it's tearing you up inside."
"Justin, do you know? I loved you most when you were a child, and when you had lost your memory."
"Back then, there were no other women to tie you down, all your attention was on me, and it made me feel like you truly belonged to me alone."
"But once your memory returned, that feeling disappeared..."
As Luna said this, she turned her head away, but from her tone, I knew she was crying.
