A Robbery is Better Than a Fire

Lu Yu, John, and Yu Lu joined Zhi Luan to ransack the place. They had no idea what old man Shen’s plan would be for the place, but they decided to do all they could to help. Later that morning, Yan Qincheng arrived and old man Shen arrived in a cab. Everyone except Zhi Luan rushed to greet him, offering their condolences.

Old man Shen saw the ruin that was once his place of work. The only thing keeping him sane was now reduced to cinder and ash. Everyone gave him room to mourn the loss in whichever way he wanted to. Surprisingly, old man Shen simply walked over to where Zhi Luan was,

“You know you’re wounded too right? Don’t overwork yourself.”

“I’m fine… they’re just scratches.”

“Your hands are covered in rolls of bandages… I don’t think they’re scratches.”

“That shouldn’t bother you. What I’m more concerned about is what your plan is for this place. Do you intend to rebuild it?”

“Talking about rebuilding so soon is insensitive, don’t you think?”
