 She didn't only discover the secrecy buried within her past, her encounter with the demon became another nightmare, impossible to eschew.

“Well, poor them,” She sympathized, her eyes locking on the pot of stemming soup as she mixed the fresh ingredients with the help of her wooden spoon. “To think their lives are shortened between few hours is a tragedy,” 


 It wasn’t due to the nerving perturbance of servants' involvement in treasonous offenses, but its reoccurrence over the past few weeks. 


 With a soft inaudible sigh, “Sometimes, I wonder who’s next,” 


 Medusa narrowed her eyes slightly, her hands moving mechanically against the plates and bowls from the previous night's feasts. 


 Although her shift ended earlier than the others, rumors had escalated fast enough. Last night’s poisoned feast became one of the most talked-about topics at the break of dawn. 


 It takes only a few seconds to debate on her statement; the recent crimes or the recent deaths.
