“Stay away from me,” she returned, getting on her feet in a tremble. One, due to his intimidating aura, those eyes that emphasized the warning in them as he glared at her reckless move. And two, her body reacting… strangely.

Perhaps due to the emotional charge.

Gytha realized the weather change. The severe cold was causing a headache and body ache that shot every nerve in her body.

Faint sweat broke off her forehead, trailing down towards her face. She could still feel the fat beads at her back, the heat soaking her dress, and the hairs on her skin rising as a result of the overflowing effect.

Gytha wondered if all these emotions were a result of the tension built up in the room, or the sickness. Nonetheless, she still trembled.

“Stay away from the girl, Williams,” Gytha hadn’t recognized who interrupted the scene until the bulk body of a tall man blocked her view.
