And she took a step back.
The atmosphere suddenly tensed due to the dropping temperature and thunderstorms rattling the sky with the loudest boom she had ever heard. The fortress groaned under the weight of distant war. Thunder snarled through the lowlands, echoing like the clash of giants, as sulfurous winds coiled up the mountains and into the high stone walls of the stronghold.
The sounds, the air, the environment, the scene, everything looked real. Felt real. And staring at those bloodlust eyes vowing to obliterate her existence, this was far from a memory.
This wasn't a memory.
