Locked up in a Temple for a long time. Jace was released by Anita who was trying to write a project for her history class so has to be able to join the school play.

The aftermath of the battle left Anita standing in the middle of the school grounds, her body trembling with exhaustion. Her hands, still faintly glowing, hung at her sides, the power from the fox bead fading away. The once overwhelming rush of energy that had coursed through her now felt like an anchor, weighing her down. She could hardly catch her breath. 


Jace was beside her, his gaze intense, as if searching for signs of injury. His protective instincts were heightened, but even he couldn't ignore the heavy silence between them. The air felt thicker now, and the weight of what had just happened was settling over Anita like a storm cloud. 


“I didn’t—” she began, but her voice faltered. The battle had been instinctive, fueled by fear and desperation, but now that the immediate danger had passed, the reality of what she had done crashed down on her. She had used the fox bead’s power so recklessly, without understanding the full consequences.
