Chapter 38: Fedorov’s Last Stand

By the end of the second round, Joe's body was shaking. Fedorov's powerful blows were weakening his defenses with each passing second. This boxer, who deserved the nickname "The Bull", really pushed Joe. Joe was forced to step back with every move, but he still continued to fight.

Fedorov fought with one of the strongest qualities a boxer could have, endurance. His strength was demoralizing his opponents, tiring them out. Joe's mental strength was what gave him the strength to endure. But Fedorov's anger was gaining a little more momentum.

The third round began.

Joe continued to follow his own strategy. He moved quickly, targeting the weak points in Fedorov's body. However, Fedorov was always one step closer to him, trying to find Joe's opening.

"You're not strong enough to beat me," Fedorov said, gritting his teeth. "Today will be your end."

Joe was injured in the right leg by one of Fedorov's heavy blows and was thrown back a step, staggering. For a moment everything went blurry, but it wasn't an opportunity. It was just a test.

Joe quickly tried to regain his balance, but Fedorov immediately took the opportunity to hit Joe in the torso with a right hook. Joe screamed and his vision seemed to go black for a moment. His glasses blurred, his body shook involuntarily. Fedorov, however, continued to rush forward, as if he wanted to destroy Joe completely.

"Slow down, Joe!" Jackson shouted from the corner. "Come around!"

In just a few seconds, Joe felt pain all over his body, but the only thought on his mind was: "I have to do this!"

Round Four: The Final Move

Fedorov's pressure increased. Joe was getting harder with every step. Fedorov's punches had cornered him even more. "This will be the end, Joe!" Fedorov said with a grim smile.

Joe's body was tired, but his spirit was still upright. This was the most difficult opponent he had ever faced in his life. But Joe was not about to give up, no matter what. He waited slowly for Fedorov's opening.

Fedorov lunged at Joe once more and threw his left fist. But this time, Joe took a step back, and Fedorov's fist was thrown in the air for nothing. Joe made a last-ditch effort and jumped, aiming for Fedorov's weak spot.

"Now!" Joe shouted, and quickly threw a Dempsey Turn technique left hook at his opponent. Fedorov lost his balance as he took the blow and began to fall. Joe moved too quickly to realize it for a moment, but that final move changed everything.

Fedorov fell to the ground and the referee quickly began to count.

"One… two… three…"

Fedorov's body was still trying to get up, but each move slowed. There was a void in his eyes, as if his body was too exhausted to continue the fight.

"Eight… nine…"

Then, a moment of silence. Fedorov collapsed to the ground, his body not moving at all.

The referee counted one last time: "Ten! The match is over. Joe wins!"
