Third Person's POV
Artemis's eyes sparkled with unshed tears as she leaned into Aiden, "Then let's make sure the time is right. Let's build that future, brick by brick, with love and trust."
Aiden held her gaze, his heart overflowing with love. "I couldn't ask for anything more," he whispered, kissing her softly under the starlit sky.
In the weeks that followed, Artemis noticed subtle changes within herself. A newfound sensitivity to smells, a peculiar craving for unusual food combinations, and a persistent wave of morning sickness8. At first, she dismissed them as stress-related symptoms, a consequence of their ongoing battle with Kane.
But as the days turned into weeks, a nagging suspicion began to form in the back of her mind. Could it be possible? Was she pregnant?
Driven by a mixture of hope and trepidation, Artemis decided to take a pregnancy test. She waited anxiously in the bathroom, her heart pounding in her chest, as the minutes ticked by.
