Aiden's POV
The drive back to the estate was silent. The only sound that filled the air was the soft hum of the engine and the occasional crackle of the radio. The mission had been successful, we'd emptied Vincent's warehouse, taken his cash supply, and stripped him of his weapons.
But this was only step one.
Now, I needed to take away the one thing that kept Vincent truly powerful, his money.
I leaned back in my seat, my mind already calculating the next move. Beside me, Don Carlo sipped on his iced latte, completely unfazed by the chaos we'd just left behind.
"He's going to feel this," Don Carlo said without looking at me.
I smirked. "That's the plan."
Luca, who was driving, glanced at me through the rearview mirror. "Do you think he'll retaliate?"
I chuckled darkly. "Of course, he will. But by the time he figures out what's happening, he'll be too weak to make a move."
