Family Reunion

When she came out from the washroom, she was hugged in a warm embrace, feeling surrounded by the same calming scent of her mother. She found her nerves relaxing and all her negative emotions disappearing.

"My daughter! You are finally awake, we were so scared!"

Laura Wayne hugged her daughter tightly, she was an elegant woman full of kindness and love for her family.

'Fighting for your love is right but at the stake of your self-respect is wrong!

Crystal remembered her mother's words when she insisted on marrying Lucas after the entry of Rachel in their lives. She clenched her hands and tried her best to not cry as it'll make her more worried.

"My dear wife, you're going to suffocate my daughter in your hug!"

Sean Wayne entered the room and separated the mother and daughter then he stared at her daughter's bandage "I always knew my daughter is very strong, no injury can hurt my daughter, she is a Wayne! You were worrying uselessly!"

Crystal smiles at her father while Laura says sarcastically "Huh… Ya right! It was me who panicked so much that threatened the doctor!"

Sean cleared his throat to hide his embarrassment and said to Crystal "You are a patient, why are you standing like this?"

Settling his daughter on the bed, he asked "Are you feeling okay? Should we call the doctor?"

Looking at his father like this, Brain couldn't help but suggest "Why don't we make her go through another complete physical examination?"

To which Sean nodded his head solemnly "You are right, we should do this. I'll discuss this with the doctor."

Brain face palmed himself because of his overprotective father, Sean was about to go but Crystal stopped him by holding his hand "Dad, I'm absolutely fine, you are getting worried unnecessarily!"

Sean glanced at the bandage on his lovely daughter's head then mutters "This all happened because of that jerk, if you didn't come in between to save him from that stupid girl then you wouldn't be injured!"

The atmosphere of the room turned awkward and serious as he continued "And he didn't once try to know about you. I know you love him but you should've thought about us too, if you love him then don't we love you?"

'He was using you like a shield for himself and me so that no one can take my place' Rachel's words echoes in her mind

Crystal looked down in shame as it hit her that because of her many callowness her family suffered but they still supported her till the end.

Laura thought that Crystal felt bad as her husband was complaining about the man their daughter loved, she patted on her husband's arm saying "Relax, nobody knew that this incident would happen…"

But Crystal interrupted her "No mom, dad is right, I should've thought about you all before taking such action. Dad I'm sorry and I promise I'll try my best to not make you all worry."

She said this to everyone who was present in the room her eyes were filled with determination. Watching his daughter getting all serious, Sean rubbed her head "We just want you safe!"

To which she nodded her head and thought "And, I want you all safe and this time I'll make sure about that!"

Their interaction was broken by the doctor who came into the room for check up, after examining her, he informed "Well, Ms. Wayne is fine but she needs to stay in the hospital for two days so that we can confirm that there must be no after effects as she still suffered from a head injury and was unconscious for four days which was unusual!"

"Whatever you want to do, just make sure my granddaughter is fit and fine like before or else forget about this hospital and job."

The person who said this, is the Chairman of Wayne Group, Liam Wayne, who hurriedly came to the hospital after hearing his favourite grandchild regaining her consciousness.

Doctor wiped his sweat saying "I'll take care of it."

Crystal focused on the man who was in his late 60s, who pampered her, adored her and spoiled her and most importantly Loved her. When she asked him to give 50% shares from the business so that she can compete with Rachel, he did that without thinking anything even when he knew that she'd ruin it..

"Grandpa!" Crystal hugged him saying "I missed you!"

"If you would've missed me then you wouldn't pulled that stunt"

He reprimanded but still hugged her back.

Sean immediately defended his daughter "Dad! I scolded her, you don't need to say that anymore"

Crystal breaks the hug then holds her both ears "Grandpa, I'm sorry. I'll not do that again."
