The spot beside her held warmth, indicating he had just gotten up.
After freshening up, she headed downstairs to the dining room and saw Kingsly Scott having breakfast.
"Why are you up so early?" Kingsly furrowed his brows when he saw her. "Did I wake you when I got up?"
She shook her head with a serene smile, "It wasn't you. Diana's call woke me up."
"Does she need something?" Kingsly asked, seemingly displeased because Diana had disturbed her sleep.
"It's not anything important, it's just..."
She was about to tell Kingsly when his phone vibrated. He picked it up from the table and placed it to his ear.
A servant pulled out a chair and carefully helped her sit at the table.
She felt she didn't need such attentive care, and she felt the same when she was pregnant with Jackson. But Kingsly had instructed the servants to look after her constantly.
So, she leaned back in her chair, quietly waiting for Kingsly to finish his call.
