A group of samurai, clad in sleek maroon armor, marched through the mountains of Hakuren District. Their loud war cries echoed through the landscape, a testament to their decisive victory against their rival clan—a one-sided ambush.

This triumph was thanks to the red-haired man leading them, Katsuragi-han Kaneto, who wore a maroon yukata. Originally from the main family, Kaneto's last name was changed after he became the first man in the world to practice polygamy.

Kaneto's amber eyes scanned the group behind him, his gaze flickering with a hint of coldness.

"We will be moving swiftly from here onward. Those who arrive after sunset will receive a thousand lashings."

The group's expression took a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree turn, some of them sweating in their armor reeling from Kaneto's order.
