Sumire had found another group of people to boss around, commanding Sachiko and her group to evacuate the children from the Yumi no Kumi. Although it was supposed to be a joint operation, the Yurei subordinates merely observed, while marveling at the fascinating landscape.
Sachiko glared at Sumire with a mixture of anger and desperation, her battered face failing to grimace properly.
"As our allies, shouldn't you be helping us return these children to their parents?"
Sumire scoffed, crossing her arms.
"Why should we? You're paying us for valuable information. You'll get the merit for returning the children, earning you heroes' praise for centuries to come. What do we get? A few treasures. Frankly, you're taking advantage of us. Our boss should have negotiated for weekly gifts instead of monthly."
