Billions have perished, leaving only a few million survivors. 

After his death, Eric is summoned to another world that has been nearly destroyed by corruption.

World's Last Hope

Olivia and Eric got into position as they shifted their gazes to where Aria was coming from.

A second later, she appeared, running so fast she seemed like a blur, yet the ground below her feet didn't seem affected, as there weren't even any footprints in the mud.

Behind her were about a dozen colossal monsters following her, all of them bearing injuries, some minor, others more major.

As if the thing hiding in the hole sensed her approach, it revealed some of its legs as it started to emerge from the hole.

She quickly sidestepped, moving faster than before. The colossal monsters lost sight of her but quickly shifted their gazes to the massive creature that was coming out of the hole.

"Let's do it!" Olivia shouted as she and Eric both hit the tree with all the force they could muster. The tree shook and began to slowly fall towards the hole.
