C16 - Golden Hex Spider

Undeterred, Yin Kai began to roll the snake's head along the ground. Within a short few seconds, he managed to flip it over.

*HISSSSS*

Yin Kai faked the snake's awakening.

The loopy spider was enraged. It had already taken care of the snake, and now he had to fight the both of them?!

With a giant whomp, the spider leaped into the air and landed several yards away. Undeterred, the spider leaped again. This time, it managed to hit the snake's head.

With a jolt, it realized the two python fangs had penetrated its backside.

From this vantage, Yin Kai got a better look at it.

It wasn't just a spider. It was a 5-point Golden Hex spider!

It was an Immortal-Opening level beast. It wasn't yet full grown, but it could still terrorize an entire city.

The Golden Hex Spider started out as a 3-point spider. It would then grow. Once it reached the ninth point, it was at the top of the world. Nothing could defeat it.

Yin Kai shook. Normally, a Golden Hex Spider could defeat him with one eye closed. The reason? Golden Hex Spider webs could cause a small toxin to infiltrate its surroundings and cause a form of dizziness.

No wonder the spider was after the Nine Yin Intoxication Mushroom!

Luckily, with his poison body, and the fact he hadn't been hit yet by the various webs, Yin Kai was safe.

Yin Kai took this time to fill it with more of the Nine Yin Toxin.

The spider began to roll backwards to avoid him. After the time of an incense stick, one of the fangs broke off.

Sensing this, the spider began to pull itself off the other fang. With a great hiss, the spider stumbled to its feet.

During this time, Yin Kai ran around to the back of a spider. With a mighty heave and a push of his foot, he managed to make the spider stumble as he pulled out the broken python fang.

With a mighty yell he jumped on the spider's back and ran forward a few paces. He then jumped forward and slammed all of his weight down upon the python fang, driving it directly into the spider's head.

With a mighty wail, the spider through him into a nearby tree. Yin Kai tried to keep his eyes open, but ultimately failed.

Yin Kai opened his eyes. He was in pain, and appeared to be suffering from a small concussion.

Before him lay the carcasses of not one, but two immortal-tier monster beasts.

His eyes glittered. It was time to put his new spatial ring to work. Unfortunately, his new carving knife couldn't pierce the skin of the two monster beasts.

But, with a little bit of finagling, he was able to pierce through their mouths enough to collect their monster cores.

With a swoosh, he collected the remains of both beasts. Just then, as he was collecting the python, something fell off of its body.

Startled, Yin Kai took a ready stance. Then, he relaxed.

A small, golden bug was laying in the grass, ready to attack him. But due to his special abilities, it would never be able to harm him.

The small, 3-point Golden Hex Spider bared its fangs. With a leap, it pounced on him and tried to bite him.

Before it could, though, Yin Kai grabbed it with a swipe. Stuffing it into his currently empty beast ring, he marvelled at his luck.

Such a beast was truly worthy of making his own. He considered using his empty slot in the ancestral bead, but ultimately decided against it.

In order to do so, he would need a second spider of the opposite sex to create a large number of them. Additionally, he would need to be able to pick and transfer a body part.

While the spider was indeed powerful, it didn't have a truly profound feature other than its poison, which Yin Kai was already immune to.

Excited from his newfound earnings, Yin Kai continued to devour the poison ivy from his surroundings.

Other than the ivy hit with webs, after a few hours he had completed his task. As such, he began to make his way back to the Martial Fist Temple.
