C43 - Shadows of Morr

Yin Kai was still working through his plans as he began to discuss the near future. "Yin Li. I have left the inner workings of my blood tribe to you for the last year. I'm certain you can continue to lead them here."

"That being said, now that I have taken responsibility for the tribe's women, you no longer need to worry about them."

She nodded.

"Additionally, when is your Shadow Queen Gu to give birth?"

"3 Weeks."

"Excellent. After she gives birth, I want you to starve your Queen Gu so that she is on the verge of death. During this time, place her in a cage with a partition between her and a Bloodbinding Beetle. On the Beetle's side, add a Hemmhorage Flower. On the Queen's side, add Corpseweed."

"Right before she begins to die, feed her an Origin Root. 15 minutes later, add a drone."

"If done properly, the pairing should lead to a second Queen Gu. Tell this," he enunciated, "to absolutely no one."

She motioned sealing her lips.

"I will leave Bu Tan here to continue watching over your safety. Bu An is with me. That leaves three Shadows of Morr."

"Please summon them here."

"En." With a wave of her many bangles, Yin Li motioned to a nearby servant. Less than a minute later, the shadows arrived.

Kneeling, they introduced themselves.

"Shadow Miao Ran greets chieftain!"

"Shadow Gao San greets chieftain!"

"Shadow Bo Lin greets chieftain!"

"En!" Yin Kai tolled. "I have jobs for you three. Miao Ran!"

The first man, Miao Ran, was fairly average in heights, looks, and build. His muttonchops and unkempt ponytail, however, gave him a fierce look that bespoke against any assailant.

"Meet with Mistress Yin. You are to build a spy network between this city and the surrounding sects centered here. Cover the entire Holy Land as fast as you can. Don't wait for the best placed spies, just intake as much news as you can."

"Yes, chief."

"Gao San!"

"En!" The man shouted, cupping his hands.

"Create a list of gangs inside the Alliance Capital, as well as their leaders. Find a way to keep it up to date. Create an information network in the rest of the alliance, then come back and join up with Miao Ran."

"Bo Lin!"

The skinny man cupped his hands. "En!"

"You are to return to the Imperium. Find the current status of the four tribes, the imperium's current stance on our blood tribe, and return here with the news."

"As you command, Chief."

"Whatever happens, I want the three of you back here in two year's time. I will be visiting several sects fo form relations and build alliances. Until we meet again, keep an eye on my whereabouts and keep me up to date on the major changes in the world."

"Go."

"En!" The three disappeared from sight.

"Summon Bu An."

15 seconds later, the man appeared.

"Bu An," Yin Kai began, "You failed me. However, you are a Shadow, and not trained as a bodyguard. As such, I will give you a new mission."

"Update Miao Ran with your information on the Sunset Islands. Leave, and return here unnoticed with the head of the heir to the Su family, and Yin Li will give you further instructions."

Bu An cupped his hands. "Yes, chief."

"Here." Yin Kai added, "Take this."

As the man left, he turned to Yin Li. Seeing the questions in her eyes, he spoke softly to her.

"Bu An is one of the most effective tools in my employ. I also prefer his demeanor. However, he gets excited too easily, and does poorly with multiple directives."

"I have sent him on this mission to prove his loyalty and to remind him of the need for minding details. When he returns, I will keep him closer and grant him the biggest mission any shadow has received in the last 3,000 years."

"Mmm. If that is so, I will relish the sight."

"Then I'll return after I settle some things."

The two stood up. Yin Kai stepped closer. She immediately became perky. He turned her facing the open entryway.

Lifting the front of her dress, he curled his fingers into her pussy and began to kiss her deeply, maximizing the limits of the Nine Yin Toxin.

Once she was in a deep state, he put his thumb on her lip as he walked away. "See you next time." He whispered.

"Damn." She mumbled incoherently to the wall behind him.

As Yin Kai mounted Bian Lei, he straddled heroically. "Git!" With a tap of his feet, the rhino's butt began to swagger as it left courtyard. It looked towards a gate with melancholy.

It didn't take Yin Kai any time at all to realize why. "We'll bring her back with us soon, boy."

This time, he met no resistance on his way back to the sect. The road was quite often travelled, and with the bandit cleanup, he coukd pass on through.

Now that the rhino knew the path, he let Bian Lei run freely. As the rhino trampled the dirt path that led to Martial Spirit Temple, Yin Kai worked through his next few moves.

As he reached the sect gates, he yelled using qi to enhance his voice, shouting, "ELDER LU, ELDER LU, YOU HAVE WRONGED ME! COME OUT HERE SO WE CAN TALK AS MEN!!"

Hearing no response, he brought Bian Lei through the sect towards the library. Stepping in, he saw an older man he didn't recognize working the shelves. "Where's Elder Lu?" He asked.

The old man looked at him. "Are you Yin Kai?"

"That I am."

"Elder Lu petitioned the Elder Hall to allow you access to the entire library. Luckily for you, the Hall agreed."

Yin Kai stood there blankly.

"He also said to tell you that even with unrestricted access to the library, his disciple would always be better than you."

"Oh, did he now?" Yin Kai responded.

The new elder sputtered. "You should learn the proper respect, young man."

Yin Kai waved him away. "Elder Lu hasn't minded in the past, so he can take it up when we see each other again."

Walking around, Yin Kai pretended to look at the titles. "Phoebe," he called, "I have a job for you."
