C53 - Drink! Drink! Drink!

Running into Gu Bing's living room, he found the picture of Gu Ding and summoned Caihong. "I need to find his man as soon as possible. Can you find him for me?"

With an assertive nod, the Pheonix flew out of the house in an array if multicolored light and went straight up.

Walking outside, Yin Kai watched her. A little bit later, she began to circle above the sect. Running to her location, he found his new brother-in-law.

"BROTHER! Let's get a drink!"

"Go away Yin Kai. Haven't you humiliated me enough?" The man murmbled.

"No! How could I? Now that you've seen me naked, that makes us true brethren! Let's get drinks to commemorate the occasion!"

Without letting up, Yin Kai continued his one-sided conversation until they reached the sect's pub. Pulling the morose Gu Ding inside, he sat them at one of the nearby tables before ordering as much beer as he could.

Drinking, the two began to laugh about their previous encounters. Gu Ding insulted him several times, and he took it like a man.

"Gu Ding, you have a very single-minded focus, you know that?"

"Oh?"

"Yeah, when you learn your cultivation arts, you have an intense focus. I think-" Yin Kai said, slurring his words a little, "You shouldn't be in a Fist sect OR an Ice sect."

"Mah guyy, I think you," he said, poking his chest and rubbing his shoulder, "should join a sword sect."

"And not jus anyyy kind a sword sect, that teaches lots of fancy moves."

"Buh-RUTHA!! You! You should join the One Strike Sword Sect. One move to cut the skies, one move to cut the ground!"

At this, Yin Kai chopped at the table, nearly breaking it in half.

"That's you, Gu." He said, pointing at Gu Ding and twitching his eyes.

Gu Ding looked at him with somber eyes. "Thanks, brother. I'm soo glad that you're the guy!" Pointing at Yin Kai, he emphasized his point. "You're the guy, man."

"You're the guy that's protecting my sister. All that time you spent sparring your sect brothers and your sect sisters… Staying on top of the competition… So that you today, you can utterly murder anyone who comes against her."

"That's schmee, brotha! Drink!"

The two clinked their mugs as an icy frost reached their table.

"I think that's enough." Gu Bing quickly shortened their conversation as she pulled them away from their drinks and dragged them by their ears back to her house.
