Mo Shaolin waited downstairs at Huo Siyu's place until a thoroughly bundled up Huo Siyu and a nanny appeared.
Mo Shaolin ran over with a smile: "Huo Siyu, you're finally back. Bobby has been missing you so much he's almost sick with longing. Can Bobby stay with you for a couple of days?"
Huo Siyu didn't turn around, her hands clutching her shawl, her voice weak and breathless: "Get lost!"
With the child gone, she had lost the only connection she had with Mo Shaolin.
Huo Siyu didn't want to see Mo Shaolin or have anything to do with him anymore.
Mo Shaolin quickly walked to Huo Siyu, blocking her path.
"What happened? Are you hurt?"
Huo Siyu glared at Mo Shaolin with bloodshot eyes, her words icy cold: "Can't you just go away? Can you stop appearing in front of me?"
Huo Siyu said to the nanny next to her: "Aunt Zhang, let's go upstairs."
"Okay," Aunt Zhang said, carrying the items and following Huo Siyu forward.
